We are looking for Senior Road Engineers to join our Roads Delivery team to help deliver quality design models, drawings, reports, and calculations for a wide range of projects. Working with established standards and procedures, you’ll bring sound judgement, technical curiosity and a collaborative mindset to help shape practical drainage solutions.
Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Perform road engineering duties, including but not limited to:
- Develop and deliver geometric road designs and associated infrastructure, including intersections, roundabouts, car parks, active transport facilities, earthworks, access roads, and other related infrastructure.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated engineering solutions.
- Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and support to junior engineers and designers.
- Perform engineering calculations, assessments and prepare technical reports.
- Engage effectively with clients and project teams.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant standards, project requirements, and industry best practices.
What you will bring to the team:
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- At least 10 years or more of experience in road and transport infrastructure engineering.
- Strong understanding of road design principles and international road design standards.
- Australian design experience is highly regarded.
- Other international civil engineering project experience will also be highly regarded.
- Experience in a consulting, engineering, or infrastructure delivery environment.
- Strong technical writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse clients and project teams.
- Experience with 12d and/or OpenRoads is highly regarded
- Experience delivering multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead project teams.
