Our team has contributed to major transport infrastructure projects including the Kangaroo Point Green Bridge, Bruce Highway Cooroy to Curra and M1 Burleigh to Palm Beach.\nWe are currently seeking experienced Site Engineers with bridges, road works, rail and/or general infrastructure experience to join our projects in both metro and regional areas of Queensland.\nThis is a rare opportunity for ambitious Site Engineers to join an industry leader in contract administration and become part of a high-performing team delivering some of Queensland’s most significant infrastructure projects.\nWorking alongside respected industry professionals, you’ll have access to advanced contract management systems, proven delivery frameworks and the support of a collaborative team passionate about excellence.\nIf you're looking to accelerate your career, broaden your experience and help shape the future of critical infrastructure, we want to hear from you.\nWorking with an energetic and high-performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:\nSupporting Senior Project Engineers and the Administrator’s Representative with contract administration, management and project reporting.\nPreparing monthly quantity forecasts and estimates in collaboration with the broader engineering team.\nSupporting project risk management, including updates to the risk register, forecast final costs and required contingency.\nAssisting with the preparation of monthly reporting to TMR.\nWorking closely with Engineers and Inspectors to ensure accurate field records and agreed measurements are available to support the assessment of progress claims, variations and extension of time claims.\nAssisting the Administrator’s Representative with the assessment and validation of cost and time claims.\nCoordinating with the Project Planning Engineer on program updates and assessments of progress and delays.\nAssessing monthly progress claims and preparing payment certificates for approval.\nSupporting Senior Project Engineers in reviewing and verifying management plans, construction methodologies, programs, variations, progress claims and quality records.\nSupporting audit and reporting processes across traffic, environmental, risk and safety management.\nMaintaining relevant contract administration systems and project records.\nParticipating in project meetings and preparing and issuing minutes as required.\nBuilding strong working relationships with the client, contractors and wider project team.\nWorking collaboratively with clients, the GHD team and contractors to identify and resolve issues, helping keep projects on track.\nSupporting the Contract Administration team to ensure GHD meets its obligations under the contract.\nWhat you will bring to the team\nWe’re looking for motivated engineers who want to build their experience in major infrastructure delivery and develop strong contract administration and commercial capability.\nA Bachelor of Engineering in Civil or Structural Engineering.\nMembership of Engineers Australia and Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) preferred, or an equivalent professional accreditation (e.g. CPEng), or the ability to obtain these credentials.\nA minimum of 5 years’ experience within the construction industry.\nPrevious experience working with TMR specifications and general conditions of contract.\nStrong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.\nThe ability to work effectively within a collaborative, high-performing project team.\nStrong organisational skills and attention to detail.\nPrevious experience in the commercial management of infrastructure projects will be highly regarded, as will TMR prequalification at SEC01 or SEC02 level.\nBuild your career with GHD\nThis is more than an opportunity to work on one major project.
