You will influence the design direction of major developments, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and help deliver innovative, client-focused solutions that create lasting community benefit.\nAs a recognised technical and creative leader, you will guide teams through the design process, balancing design intent, technical excellence, commercial considerations and client expectations. You will also mentor emerging talent and strengthen design capability across the business.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead the development and delivery of complex architectural design solutions from concept through to implementation.\nEstablish and champion the design vision for major projects, maintaining quality, innovation and technical rigour.\nWork closely with clients and project stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver exceptional outcomes.\nLead design reviews, feasibility studies and design validation activities.\nProvide specialist advice on architectural design, construction practices, regulations and industry standards.\nSupport multidisciplinary teams, including BIM, technical and engineering specialists.\nContribute to winning work through technical input into proposals, tenders and client presentations.\nMentor and develop team members, sharing knowledge and fostering design excellence and continuous improvement.\nApply emerging technologies and industry best practice to strengthen project outcomes.\nExperience & Qualifications\nA bachelor’s degree in Architecture or an equivalent discipline.\nMinimum 10 years’ professional experience in architectural design\nDemonstrated experience leading complex projects and managing design delivery.\nStrong design, technical and problem-solving capability.\nExperience working collaboratively across multidisciplinary project teams.\nExcellent stakeholder and client relationship management skills.\nClear and compelling communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and inspire others.\nExperience using industry-standard design and BIM tools.\nExperience supervising people and resources to deliver agreed outcomes.\nWhy GHD?\nAt GHD, you can make a meaningful impact.
