With a new Controller restructuring the department and bringing the AP function together in California, this is a great opportunity to join a team during an important period of growth and process improvement.\nThe Accounts Payable Specialist will own full-cycle AP responsibilities, including invoice processing, vendor reconciliations, payments, and issue resolution. This role works closely with Operations, Project Managers, and other departments to ensure accurate, timely processing and will be especially well suited for someone who is detail-oriented, personable, and comfortable researching and resolving discrepancies.\nKey Responsibilities\nProcess full-cycle accounts payable, including reviewing, coding, and entering vendor invoices\nProcess vendor payments via checks, ACH, and other approved methods\nReconcile vendor statements and research invoice, credit, and payment discrepancies\nProactively manage AP exceptions and resolve outstanding issues\nMaintain vendor records, W-9s, and payment documentation\nReview invoices against purchase orders, contracts, and approval requirements\nPartner with Operations and Project Managers to resolve invoice and payment questions\nAssist with month-end close, account reconciliations, and AP reporting\nMonitor outstanding invoices and payment schedules to ensure timely payments\nSupport audits and identify duplicate payments, process gaps, and opportunities for greater efficiency\nQualifications\n3-5 years of accounts payable experience preferred\nStrong full-cycle AP experience, including invoice processing, vendor reconciliations, and payments\n Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains experience required\nStrong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and PivotTables\nExperience working with ERP/accounting systems;
