This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on accounting leader who enjoys managing complex financial operations, developing teams, and working closely with executive leadership.\nReporting to the CFO, the Controller will oversee full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, multi-entity reconciliations, payroll, and cash management. This role offers broad exposure to real estate and operating company accounting while providing opportunities to strengthen processes, improve financial controls, and support strategic financial decisions.\nKey Responsibilities\nOversee full-cycle accounting, including general ledger, journal entries, accruals, and month-end close.\n\nPrepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements across multiple entities.\n\nManage intercompany accounting, related-party transactions, and balance sheet reconciliations.\n\nOversee commercial real estate accounting, including tenant activity, CAM reconciliations, property taxes, and capital expenditures.\n\nManage AP, AR, payroll, and operating company accounting activities.\n\nMonitor cash flow, banking activity, debt obligations, and liquidity requirements.\n\nSupport budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis in partnership with the CFO.\n\nCoordinate audit, tax, lender, and ownership reporting requirements.\n\nSupervise accounting staff while remaining actively involved in day-to-day accounting.\n\nIdentify opportunities to improve accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting efficiencies.\n\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred.\n\n7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory or management responsibilities.\n\nCommercial real estate accounting experience required or strongly preferred.\n\nStrong experience with multi-entity accounting, intercompany transactions, and financial reporting.\n\nKnowledge of GAAP, general ledger accounting, and month-end close processes.\n\nHands-on payroll, cash management, and treasury experience.\n\nProficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel;
