We have the expertise to carry out full EPC&M services for electrical and instrumentation works and bring our intrinsic knowledge to measure and automate exploration, production, separation, refining processes, and distribution through our localized services.\n ROLE PURPOSE:\nThe Lead Process Design Engineer shall act as the Technical Authority for all process engineering activities related to the Instrument Air (IA) and Plant Air (PA) System Upgrade, with primary focus on Air Compressors, ensuring:\nFull compliance with ADNOC Offshore Process Engineering Standards\nProtection of FEED & Design Basis integrity\nSafe, reliable, and energy-efficient operation of IA/PA systems on live offshore platforms\nIndependent Owner’s Engineer (OE)-level engineering governance\nKEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES\nProcess Technical Authority (Owner’s Engineer Role)\nAct as Lead Process Authority for:IA/PA system design\nCompressor process sizing\nAir quality & reliability requirements\n\nEnforce compliance with:ADNOC CoPs\nAPI / ISO compressor & air treatment standards\n\nProvide final technical approval on all process design deliverables\nAir Compressor & IA/PA System Process Design\nPerform and review:Compressor sizing calculations\nAir demand balance & peak load assessment\nSystem pressure drop calculations\nTurndown & redundancy philosophy (N+1)\n\nValidate:IA vs PA segregation\nDryer sizing & moisture removal efficiency\nAir quality class suitability for instruments\n\nBrownfield Integration & Offshore Feasibility\nLead process engineering for:Tie-ins to live IA/PA headers\nShutdown & operational constraints\nTemporary air supply philosophy during changeover\n\nReview:Laser scan & as-built data\nBrownfield modification method statements\n\nSupport:SIMOPS planning & execution\n\nProcess Safeguarding, PSV & Safety Studies\nLead process input for:HAZID / HAZOP / ENVID\nRelieving scenarios & PSV sizing\nBlowdown & vent routing philosophy\n\nEnsure:All safeguarding recommendations are implemented in P&IDs & control logic\n\nInterfaces with Other Disciplines\nCoordinate closely with:Rotating (compressors, performance)\nPiping (headers, drops, pressure classes)\nStatic (air receivers, dryers)\nElectrical (motor power demand)\nI&C (control logic & interlocks)\n\nConstruction & Commissioning Support\nSupport:Pre-commissioning of IA/PA systems\nDryer changeover & air quality verification\nPerformance testing of compressors & dryers\n\nProvide process acceptance for RFSU\nADNOC-SPECIFIC OFFSHORE SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES\nEnforce:ADNOC PTW requirements\nSIMOPS safety for live system tie-ins\nOverpressure and stored energy hazard control\n\nEnsure:Emergency blow-off and venting are compliant\n\nSIMPLE DOCUMENTATION & REPORTING\nMaintain key process discipline registers, including:Process Equipment List\nCompressor & IA/PA Calculation Register\nP&ID Register\nTQ & Deviation Log\n\nReview and approve:Process datasheets\nP&IDs\nCause & Effect diagrams (interface)\nPSV sizing and safeguarding documents\n\nEnsure compliance with:\nADNOC Document Numbering System\nProject Master Document Register (MDR)\nPrepare and submit:\nWeekly Process Engineering Progress Reports\nMonthly Discipline Summary Reports\nVerify and approve as-built process documentation for:\nMechanical Completion (MC)\nReady for Commissioning (RFC)\nReady for Start-Up (RFSU)\n Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical / Process Engineering -
