Experience architecting solutions that integrate cloud, security, data, AI, and managed services capabilities in enterprise environments, particularly within regulated industries\nThis role combines deep technical expertise with strong client-facing consulting skills and requires the ability to lead complex cloud migration, modernization, and application transformation projects.\nResponsibilities\nCloud Architecture & Strategy\nDesign end-to-end cloud architectures leveraging Google Cloud services and best practices. \nDevelop cloud adoption roadmaps, landing zones, governance frameworks, and operating models. \nLead cloud assessments and provide strategic recommendations for modernization initiatives. \nDefine architecture standards, patterns, and reference architectures for enterprise environments. \nSolution Design & Implementation\nArchitect scalable, resilient, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions. \nDesign solutions across compute, storage, networking, databases, analytics, and security domains. \nLead workload migrations from on-premises, AWS, Azure, or other platforms to GCP. \nSupport containerization, Kubernetes, microservices, and cloud-native application architectures. \nCollaborate with delivery teams to ensure successful implementation and operational readiness. \nClient Engagement\nAct as a trusted technical advisor for customers throughout the project lifecycle. \nLead discovery workshops, architecture reviews, and executive presentations. \nTranslate business requirements into technical architecture designs. \nPrepare solution documentation, architecture diagrams, proposals, and statements of work. \nSecurity & Governance\nDesign secure architectures aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements. \nImplement Integrate identity and access management, security controls, monitoring, and compliance frameworks into solution architecture.\nEstablish governance, operational processes, and cloud financial management practices. \nLeadership & Mentorship\nProvide technical leadership and guidance to consultants, engineers, and project teams. \nMentor technical team members on cloud architecture principles and best practices. \nContribute to practice development, service offerings, reusable assets, and thought leadership initiatives. \nRequirements\n8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud consulting, or solution architecture. \n5+ years designing and delivering public cloud solutions. \nHands-on experience implementing enterprise-scale Google Cloud solutions. \nExperience leading cloud migration and modernization projects. \nConsulting or professional services experience is strongly preferred. \nTechnical Expertise\nStrong knowledge of:\nGoogle Compute Engine (GCE) \nGoogle Kubernetes Engine (GKE) \nCloud Storage \nCloud SQL \nBigQuery \nCloud Networking \nIdentity and Access Management (IAM) \nSecurity Command Center \nCloud Monitoring and Operations Suite \nInfrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred) \nCI/CD and DevOps practices \nContainer and Kubernetes technologies \nAdditional Experience\nExperience with one or more of the following:\nData and analytics solutions \nAI/ML services on GCP \nHybrid cloud architectures \nMulti-cloud environments (Azure, AWS) \nEnterprise integration patterns \nDisaster recovery and business continuity planning \nCertifications\nOne or more of the following is preferred:\nGoogle Professional Cloud Architect (strongly preferred) \nGoogle Professional Cloud Network Engineer \nGoogle Professional Cloud Security Engineer \nTerraform Associate \nKubernetes Certifications (CKA/CKAD)\nPersonal attributes\nExceptional communication and presentation skills. \nAbility to engage effectively with technical and executive stakeholders. \nStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. \nExcellent consulting, facilitation, and influencing skills. \nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. \nStrong customer focus and commitment to delivery excellence. \nDisclaimer\nThe rate for this position is $160K-200K.
