The candidate should strive to provide attorneys and clients with the highest-quality customer service by becoming a subject-matter expert in all pricing related matters. The candidate must be very flexible and highly committed to quality in order to establish and maintain an excellent working relationship with internal and external stakeholders.\nThis role reports to the Pricing Manager.\nResponsibilities include:\nInvolvement in the Firm’s billing rate administration for all offices.\nMaintaining the Firm’s rates and fee arrangements database.\nCollaborating with the Firm’s billing department to execute negotiated fee arrangements.\nMonitoring internal approvals for compliance with Firm policies.\nPerforming ad hoc analyses using the firm's various data stores and tools.\nEngaging in legal pricing related competitor and market studies.\nCompleting special projects on various issues as needed.\nQualifications:\nMust be self-motivated, learn quickly, detail-oriented and well-organized.\nMust have a strong customer focus, be responsive, work well under pressure and continually strive for efficiency and excellence.\nExceptional critical thinking and problem-solving ability are also required.\nMust be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.\nShould have the ability to view business issues in perspective, follow-up on projects/assignments and be able to prioritize and participate in multiple projects simultaneously.\nCandidate must be able to adapt to change and remain flexible with current and future responsibilities.\nStrong interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills are required to build and maintain effective relationships with senior management, attorneys and staff.\nExperience:\nBachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or a related field.\nPrior law firm or pricing experience is a plus.\nMust be able to work with large volumes of data and possess advanced proficiency in Excel (i.e., formulas, macros, pivots, data manipulation).\nGibson Dunn will consider for employment qualified Applicants with Criminal Histories in a manner consistent with the requirements of local law.\nCompensation & Benefits:\nThe annual compensation range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000.
