The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of full-cycle recruitment and effectively manage all areas of the recruitment process, from sourcing to onboarding.\nThis position is responsible for creating a positive and personalized experience for candidates, agency contacts and hiring managers while driving efficiencies and ensuring compliance.\nThis role reports to Manager, Staff Recruiting.\nResponsibilities include:\nManage the entire recruitment process of high-level staff positions, from requisition through onboarding and integration, for various national and international Global Services departments.\nDevelop and implement strategic recruitment plans to attract top talent, aligning with the firm’s long-term goals and objectives.\nPartner with hiring managers to fully understand role requirements and provide guidance on recruiting best practices to ensure compliance, consistency and efficiency.\nDevelop and maintain information regarding market data and talent availability and leverage this information to provide guidance to hiring managers.\nActively source candidates through job boards and other recruitment platforms to ensure a strong candidate pipeline. Leverage alternative resources and tools to ensure a strategic sourcing model.\nPartner and build strong relationships with agency search firms to effectively communicate Gibson Dunn’s culture and strengthen and grow candidate pipeline when additional support is required. Review and negotiate contractual terms to the best interest of the Firm.\nReview and refer qualified candidates to hiring managers.\nConduct initial phone screenings to evaluate candidates’ expertise.\nTrack and maintain all recruiting activities and files.\nExtend verbal and written offers of employment and manage offer negotiations.\nMaintain the firm’s applicant tracking system, and ensure configuration is up to date.\nComplete pre-employment checks and ensure timely entry into the firm’s onboarding platform for all new hires.\nPartner with key stakeholders to create meaningful onboarding and integration plans for new hires.\nEstablish and track key recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill and cost-per-hire. Report key findings to leadership on a consistent basis.\nPartner with Staff Recruiting Manager to drive and lead various department initiatives.\nContinuously assess recruitment processes, tools and resources to further enhance the candidate experience.\nProactively identify ways to improve the overall candidate and hiring manager experience, while ensuring efficiency and accountability throughout the entire process.\nPerform other duties as assigned or requested.\nQualifications:\nAbility to manage multiple roles simultaneously and reprioritize responsibilities.\nDemonstrated knowledge of Human Resources practices and principles with a full understanding of recruiting practices.\nCapable of maintaining confidence of personal and highly sensitive information.\nCritical thinking and sound judgment with ability to analyze and resolve problems.\nEffective communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the firm, along with managing productive working relationships.\nExperience:\nBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.\n7+ years of experience in recruiting or talent acquisition within a legal environment is strongly preferred.\nProven experience as a full-cycle recruiter.\nExperience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software\nDemonstrated experience seeking and placing talent globally (preferred)\nGibson Dunn will consider for employment qualified Applicants with Criminal Histories in a manner consistent with the requirements of local law.\nCompensation & Benefits:\nThe hourly compensation rate for this position is $48-58/hr.
