The person in this role will be working as part of a team in this domain, with the responsibility to drive, manage and enable product success from ‘vision’ to ‘bookings’. The right candidate will be a strategic team player with demonstrated excellence in understanding market and customer needs, collaborating with other stakeholders to develop product strategy and translate that strategy into world-class products.\nThe ideal candidate would have an excellent understanding of networking, competitive analysis and is obsessed with starting from the customer problems and working backward.\nWhat you'll do:\nProduct strategy: Define the vision and roadmap for the hardware and system softwareproduct, considering market trends, customer needs, and competitor analysis to identify potential features and functionalities.\nProduct development and team work: Collaborate with engineering to develop, and implement new features, enhance existing ones, prioritize key fixes, and ensure the product meets performance and scalability requirements. \nMarket analysis: Understanding the competitive landscape, market segments, and customer requirements to position the product effectively. \nProduct launch: Plan and execute product launches with a cross functional set of stakeholders, including internal and external enablement.\nVoice of the customer: Meet regularly with customers and partners to evangelize the vision, strategy, and roadmap, and collect feedback both on existing products and features but also building an understanding of where customers are going next, with a focus on the \"why\".\nTechnical expertise: Network Packet Brokers require a strong understanding of both hardware architectures and network protocols.
