As part of a growing, dynamic team, the candidate will thrive in a cross-functional team environment and will contribute towards test and automation efforts for achieving project quality goals.\nWhat you’ll do:\nProvide technical expertise for the system design, operation, usability, and testability of our products with special focus on visibility fabric products.\nWork closely with the functional test teams in developing and improving overall testing approach and strategy\nWork with team for system testing strategy with focus on automation including but not limited to customer use case centric as well as scalability and performance testing\nDesign, develop and completely automating Functional, Usability, Performance, Scaling and Stress Testing suites.\nDeliver test automation code and help in driving improvements to our automation coverage.\nIdentifying, leveraging, and successfully evangelizing opportunities to improve engineering productivity.\nWhat you’ve done:\nBS in CS or related field\n10+ years of hands-on quality, development and/or automation experience in virtualization and networking space\nExtensive test automation and scripting skills (Python or some scripting language)\nHand-on experience with various test automation framework (Robot, Python) and test automation tools (Cypress)\nDemonstrated experience in testing UI/UX performance and usability\nExperienced in various aspects of systems test, and in QA processes\nDemonstrated experience in testing highly scalable and fault tolerant systems including software upgrade, distributed control, and redundancy.\nKnowledge of network management concepts and basic protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, L2/L3 protocols, IPv4, IPv6, NAT, DNS)\nStrong understanding of TCP/IP layer, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL protocols, REST services and hands on experience on testing them.\nExperience in validating deliverables in Enterprise, Datacenter, Public or Private cloud environments (e.g., VMware, OpenStack, AWS)\nHands on experience in creating test beds for customer use case centric as well as scalability and performance testing\nExcellent Verbal and written communication skills\nMust have a true passion and focus for delivering quality products\nAs an equal opportunity employer, all applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, national origin, age, sexual orientation, disability, veteran status, genetic information, or any other protected characteristic under applicable federal, state, and/or local law.
