RESPONSIBILITIES: •Provision of accurate and reliable financial statements from time to time. •Preparation of the Company’s Budget, Forecasts and cashflow projections annually, monthly, and weekly and preparation of Variance Reporting to the management. •Prompt preparation of Monthly Management Account (Statement of Comprehensive Income & Statement of Financial Position & Cashflow Statement) with detailed analysis to Management. •General Ledger management and maintenance of accounts processes, including supervision of coding of transactions and posting to the appropriate ledgers. •Engage in Financial Modelling and Analysis and present period reports to the management. Liquidity/Working Capital Management (i.e., Current Assets and Current Liabilities) daily and reporting to Management. •Revenue Assurance through processes and follow-up to ensure complete recovery of the lease agreement receipts from clientele. •Ensuring that appropriate systems and financial controls are set, implemented, and monitored. •Oversees that the salaries and wages as prepared by HR are properly supervised and accurate. •Establishment of documented standards and procedures in finance operations and ensure compliance. •Coordinates and ensures timely preparation/rendition of statutory returns to FIRS, LIRS, PFA, and other regulatory bodies.Requirements REQUIREMENTS:\nB.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field.\n6-8 years of experience in Accounting.\nProfessional certifications (ACA, ACCA, ICAN, etc.) are desired.\nProficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite applications (Excel, PowerPoint).\nExcellent knowledge of accounting software (Sage, Quickbooks, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.).\nExperience in managing multiple internal and external stakeholders.\nExperience in engaging different groups of Regulators\nExperience managing individuals\nStrong report writing skills.\nBenefits WHY YOU SHOULD JOIN US: You would be part of a dynamic startup revolutionizing the vehicle subscription and financial services industry for gig workers in Africa.
