You will also play a key role in guiding the engineering team, solving challenging technical problems, and driving innovation in our technology stack.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop and maintain backend services: Design, build, and optimize server-side services, APIs, and services to support web and mobile applications.\n\nEnsure scalability and performance: Architect and implement systems that can handle increasing traffic, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and scalability.\n\nDatabase design and optimization: Design efficient database schemas, write optimized queries, and ensure data integrity across systems.\n\nAPI development and integration: Develop RESTful and GraphQL APIs, ensuring seamless integration with front-end and third-party systems.\n\nSecurity and data protection: Implement secure coding practices, data encryption, and compliance with relevant data protection laws such as GDPR.\n\nCollaborate with front-end engineers: Work closely with the front-end team to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.\n\nMaintain code quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Perform code reviews and provide feedback to team members.\n\nMentor and lead junior engineers: Guide and mentor other back-end engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge-sharing and best practices.\n\nCollaborate in product development: Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, from planning and design through to testing, deployment, and monitoring.\n\nMonitor and troubleshoot production issues: Ensure the smooth operation of back-end services, monitor system performance, and troubleshoot issues when necessary.\n\nRequirements\nRequirements\n5+ years of experience in back-end development, preferably in building scalable, distributed systems.\n\nProficiency in server-side programming languagesGo lang, Java, C++\n\nStrong knowledge of RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL, and experience designing, building, and maintaining them.\n\nExperience with database systems, both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Redis), and strong expertise in database schema design and query optimization.\n\nHands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.\n\nKnowledge of microservices architecture and the ability to design, implement, and deploy services that are decoupled and scalable.\n\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.\n\nStrong understanding of security best practices, including data protection, API security, authentication, and authorization (OAuth2, JWT, etc.).\n\nExperience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog, and debugging production issues.\n\nProficiency with version control systems such as Git.\n\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with different teams.\n\nNice-to-Have Skills\nFamiliarity with event-driven architectures and message brokers like Kafka, RabbitMQ or EventBridge\n\nExperience with serverless architecture.\n\nKnowledge of fintech, mobility, or gig economy platforms.\n\nHands-on experience with DevOps practices, including infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible) and cloud
