This role serves as a key partner to Project Managers, Superintendents, Operations Leadership, Accounting, and clients to ensure change orders, cost impacts, and project documentation are accurately developed, tracked, communicated, and resolved. In addition, you would work with an experienced team which provides you with the opportunity to learn new industry skills every day.\nResponsibilities\nChange Management\nLead the project change management process from identification through resolution.\nReview and evaluate potential change events for cost and schedule impacts.\nCoordinate with project teams to gather supporting documentation, pricing, labor impacts, productivity impacts, and schedule considerations.\nAssemble and prepare owner change order requests and supporting backup documentation.\nTrack pending change orders and maintain logs to ensure timely submission and resolution.\nMonitor change order status and facilitate follow-up with clients, consultants, and project teams.\nCost Management & Project Controls\nAssist project leadership with cost forecasting, budget management, and financial reporting.\nAnalyze project cost trends and identify potential risks and opportunities.\nSupport monthly forecasting activities and cost-to-complete reviews.\nMaintain project controls documentation and reporting tools.\nCollaborate with accounting and operations teams to reconcile project financial information.\nProject Administration\nMaintain accurate project documentation and records.\nSupport subcontract administration processes, including change order documentation and compliance tracking.\nAssist with contract review and administration activities.\nPrepare project reports, presentations, and executive summaries as needed.\nStakeholder Coordination\nServe as a liaison between project teams, operations leadership, accounting, and clients.\nFacilitate communication regarding change management activities and financial impacts.\nParticipate in project meetings and provide updates on cost and change order status.\nQualifications\nEXPERIENCE/EDUCATION\nBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Accounting, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\n5+ years of construction industry experience.\nExperience supporting project financial management, change management, project controls, or project administration.\nStrong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and construction management software.\nExcellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.\nExperience with self-perform construction operations.\nKnowledge of contract administration and change order processes.\nExperience supporting large commercial, healthcare, industrial, or mission-critical construction projects.\nFamiliarity with cost forecasting and project controls methodologies.\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES\nAbility to meet organizational and personal goals while delivering results to a standard of excellence \nStrong knowledge of success metrics and risks associated with one’s program, business unit, or portfolio of projects \nContinually seeks to understand customer goals while acting with a sense of urgency to meet customer needs \nAbility to effectively work with new structures, processes, requirements and culture \nStrong written and verbal skills \nAbility to work in a team-based environment \nExcellent in Microsoft Office programs Knowledge of MEP \nStrong knowledge of Contract Documentation and Specifications \nStrong knowledge project management maintenance and editing software \nSalary to be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience of the applicant, as well as the internal equity and alignment with the team.\nThe pay ranges from $88,000-$130,000 plus benefits and retirement program.\nNext 150 Construction Services has an unwavering focus on safety, the environment and caring about everyone involved in our work. \nQualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.\nNext 150 Construction Services is not accepting unsolicited resumes from third party recruiters at this time.\nNext 150 Construction Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
