You will protect and promote the interests of both Gilbane and the client in all matters as well as demonstrating the personal characteristics of a developing leader.\nResponsibilities\nManages and controls all scheduling data through industry-standard scheduling management software\nMonitors compliance with contract specifications and Gilbane's Baseline Operations Playbook for 1-2 projects\nDefines and documents project scope, guidelines, and coordination of resources to execute the project schedule\nDetermines the critical paths required to meet the overall project completion date, modifies critical paths based on prevailing conditions, and consults with project leadership teams to develop workarounds to overcome obstacles\nPrepares monthly project schedule updates, including written narrative and custom reports as needed\nParticipates in logistical, delivery and trade work force planning with project personnel, and incorporates into a CPM schedule\nReads and translates Owner/CM contract to determine project scheduling deliverables\nAnalyzes schedule performance and recommends corrective actions to address delays or other issues\nAssists the project team with schedule updating\nParticipates in regular jobsite walks with the project team\nQualifications\nEXPERIENCE/EDUCATION\nBachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or related field\n2-6 years relevant experience\nOr equivalent combination of education and experience\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES\nKnowledge of construction processes, sequencing, and project management methodologies\nKnowledge of scheduling methodologies and techniques including\nFamiliarity with project delivery methods such as Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, and Construction Management\nProficient in Document Control and other industry standard software\nProficient in scheduling software\nAbility to conduct pull planning sessions with subcontractors and owners\nAbility to write all forms of professional correspondence\nSalary to be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience of the applicant, as well as the internal equity and alignment with the team.\nFor Ohio this ranges from $83,000.00-$114,400.00 plus benefits and retirement program.\nGilbane offers an excellent total compensation package which includes competitive health and welfare benefits and a generous profit-sharing/401k plan.
