You will protect and promote the interests of both Gilbane and the client in all matters as well as demonstrating the personal characteristics of a developing leader.\nResponsibilities\nMonitors multiple projects' compliance with contract specifications and Gilbane's Baseline Operations Playbook\nAssists project personnel with phasing / logistics plans\nPrepares Critical Path Method (CPM) scenarios for management consideration and incorporates final approach into a complete CPM schedule\nEvaluates schedules and updates prepared by others and makes recommendations as to their completeness, accuracy, and representation as to project status\nCommunicates with Owner to assure customer satisfaction or implements corrective action when needed\nPerforms schedule and delay analysis and presents recovery recommendations to management\nEnsures that project teams are aware of and properly responds to risks relative to schedule and delay\nProvides oversight and notifications to management of any concerns regarding contract notice, delay, and proper documentation of project schedules\nParticipates in project pursuits and prepares fee proposals, RFP responses, presentation content, etc.\nAccurately documents schedule basis in narrative identifying critical assumptions for internal use, GMP’s and Owner documentation\nCoaches and mentors less experienced scheduling and project team employees in administrative tasks related to scheduling\nTrains others and makes presentations regarding CPM methods and concepts\nConducts monthly schedule project audits\nDevelops or assists in training Project Managers and Superintendents on how to schedule and use scheduling software to manage work in the field\nProduces project schedule narratives prior to submission to Owner on a monthly basis\nLeads regular jobsite walks with the project team\nSupports a positive and inclusive work environment\nQualifications\nEXPERIENCE/EDUCATION\nBachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or related field\n4-12 years relevant experience\nOr equivalent combination of education and experience\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES\nSelf Sufficient in Document Control and Office software such as Bluebeam, Procore, Microsoft Office\nSelf Sufficient in scheduling software's, including but not limited to Primavera, Microsoft Project, Touchplan, Hoylu, Netpoint etc.\nComplete understanding of scheduling principals and methodologies to include, Critical path Method, Last Planner, etc.\nHave a thorough understanding of Lean Construction Techniques\nSalary to be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience of the applicant, as well as the internal equity and alignment with the team Gilbane offers an excellent total compensation package which includes competitive health and welfare benefits and a generous profit-sharing/401k plan.
