You will protect and promote the interests of both Gilbane and the client in all matters as well as demonstrating the personal characteristics of a developing leader.\nResponsibilities\nProvide leadership in motivating the project team and maintain a positive work environment\nManage the project using established project controls and procedures\nPerform constructability and coordination reviews\nCommunicate with construction manager, architects and subcontractors related to project risk, timetables, costs/budgets, and change management\nPerform pre-construction planning, scheduling, estimating and cost control\nPrepare monthly reports including cost, schedule, safety, cash flow, etc. for internal and/or external use\nProvide jobsite leadership in the area of safety and quality\nPrepare contingency plans for potential risks, expanding contractual services and project profit\nWork closely with accounting to prepare and review billing \nAttend jobsite coordination meetings\nWork closely with onsite equipment planner and field crew for material and equipment planning and projections\nWork closely with field and labor crew on project planning and projections\nQualifications\nEXPERIENCE/EDUCATION\nBS OR MS degree in Engineering or Construction Management\n3 - 10+ years of Project Management experience on projects valued at $50 million or larger\nOr equivalent combination of education and experience\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES\nStrong technical and communication skills are critical\nAbility to work in a team environment\nKnowledge of Procore, Bluebeam and Microsoft Office (preferred)\nExperience coordinating trades and administiring subcontracts \nEstimating experience preferred\nExperience working in a self performing enviroment (having spent time working for a self-performing general contractor)\nUnion experience a plus\nSalary to be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience of the applicant, as well as the internal equity and alignment with the team.\nThe pay ranges from $95,000.00-$155,000.00 plus benefits and retirement program.\nGilbane offers an excellent total compensation package which includes competitive health and welfare benefits and a generous profit-sharing/401k plan.
