While managing your responsibilities to the project, you will be able to enroll in trainings through our award-winning Gilbane University to build leadership and technical skills.\nResponsibilities\nManages all stages of commissioning process, from initial planning and design reviews to final testing and handover\nCreates commissioning plans, schedules, test procedures (like IET and IPVT/IST), and verification checklists\nEnsures the facility and its systems comply with design specifications, health and safety standards, and performance requirements\nActs as the main point of contact and manages communication between various teams, clients, vendors, and subcontractors\nPrepares and manages all necessary documentation, including inspection reports, test results, and final certification documents\nPerforms and oversees various tests, such as functional testing and site acceptance testing, to verify system performance\nTrains direct reports on processes, procedures, and completion of daily tasks\nManages workload and performance of direct reports, ensuring alignment with overall company standards\nFosters a positive and inclusive work environment to motivate and engage team members\nAids in communicating company and department strategy to direct reports\nQualifications\nEXPERIENCE/EDUCATION\nBachelor’s degree in engineering or related field\n10-12 years of data center commissioning experience\nOr equivalent combination of education and experience\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES\nIn-depth knowledge of data center systems, including power distribution, cooling, HVAC, and IT equipment\nAbility to manage schedules, budgets, change orders, and multidisciplinary teams\nExcellent oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels\nAbility to identify and resolve issues promptly and effectively\nGilbane offers an excellent total compensation package which includes competitive health and welfare benefits and a generous profit-sharing/401k plan.
