Discover the full scale of Gildan and prepare to be surprised at gildancorp.com.\nThe opportunity\nThe Inventory Control Analyst is responsible for reconciling inventories at the third party logistics (3PL) and consignment warehouses. The Analyst will compile and analyze various reports and KPIs, as well as be directly involved in the resolution of highlighted issues. This position sits in the Inventory Control Department, reporting directly to the Team Leader, Inventory Control.\nThe role\nLiaise with the Customer Service Department and the warehouse regarding weekly inventory reconciliation. Document reasons for each variance and take appropriate action to reconcile. Make recommendations to the relevant parties to address recurring root causes.\nCoordinate physical inventory and cycle counts and make the necessary adjustments to reconcile system quantities to physical quantities.\nCompile the annual budgets for consignment accounts.\nCompile and analyze various warehouse activity reports and KPIs for Management on a weekly/monthly basis.\nAddress matters affecting inventory control related operations at the warehouses.\nSupport Inventory Control management in documenting standard operating procedures in GQS format.\nThe requirements\nA bachelor’s degree in business or a related discipline.\nThree (3) years' experience working in a similar field.\nAbility to grasp concepts quickly.\nAbility to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.\nIntermediate to advanced excel skills are required.\nStrong analytical skills, attention to detail and a methodical approach to work are essential.\nStrong quantitative skills for data analysis and interpretation are essential.\nStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.\nGood verbal and written communication skills.\nWhat's in it for you\nJoin a publicly traded company dual-listed on NYSE and TSX with great potential\nBe part of a workplace where meaningful connections and teamwork are celebrated\nFrom local to international, be ready to work alongside a diverse group of colleagues\nBenefit from mentorship and continuous development opportunities\nTake advantage of our attractive benefits packages\nWe want to get to know you better!
