Better for the people who make our clothes, better for our world, better for you.\n\nResponsibilities & ContextAs an Analyst, IT Cyber Security, you'll play a pivotal role in strengthening Gildan’s security posture by actively participating in various security operations tasks. This includes but is not limited to monitoring and responding to security incidents and alerts in a timely manor, acting as application and systems administrators for various security tools, working with other teams to provide information security guidance as it relates to policies and procedures, assisting with troubleshooting technical issues, and compiling security related reports containing key performance indicators (KPI’s) related to the day-to-day operations of the Information Security team.\nGather and prepare monthly reports for information security metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).\nFollow-up with cross-functional IT teams on vulnerabilities status and remediations. \nReview, track and triage on day-to-day security alerts and incidents reports:\nMalware protection incidents raised by MSSP\nAntispam alerts and phishing incidents\nEndpoints protection and antivirus alerts\nAlerts from security event monitoring systems\nApply defined response procedures:\nFollow-up with the local teams on identified security incidents\nIncident response and investigation assistance\nReview, evaluate and report on IT security exceptions request. \nProvide day-to-day operational support for corporate technical security solution (Antivirus, EDR, antispam and web filters,).\nAssist evaluating and implementing system-wide technical security solutions. \nProvide operational assistance reviewing recorded changes to IT system.\nMonitor and gather relevant security news, vulnerabilities, and emerging threats.\nProvide clear, concise security reports on news and vulnerabilities to the Information Security team.\nEnsure timely updates to the appropriate technical teams regarding critical vulnerabilities and threats.\nAdvocate for the application of security policies and standards to local teams, promoting compliance with corporate security guidelines.\nProvide clear shift handovers to the local team, including relevant security updates and, ongoing incident status.\nGather evidence of IT controls execution to support compliance with IT policies and standards.\n\nEducationBachelor of Science (BSc)\nBachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field preferred. However, relevant skills and experience will be considered. Information security certifications (e.g., GIAC, CEH) or other tech certifications are a plus. \n\nExperienceAt least 3 years\nThe applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Banks, Garments, Group of Companies, Insurance, Multinational Companies, Software Company, Telecommunication, Textile, Woven Manufacturing\n\nAdditional RequirementsAge At least 25 years\n 3+ years of global IT experience. \n2+ years in information security or a related role. \nAbility to work independently, manage time effectively, and take responsibility. \nStrong teamwork and communication skills for collaboration with different teams and stakeholders. \nProblem-solving mindset with a keen interest in information security. \nKnowledgeable in enterprise email antivirus, malware protection, EDR, and antispam systems. \nUnderstanding in networking concepts and standard network protocols like HTTP, TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP. \nProficient in using data analysis tools, such as Excel, for security data analysis. \nProficient in troubleshooting computer hardware and software. \nCommitted to staying updated with technology trends.
