Better for the people who make our clothes, better for our world, better for you.\n\nResponsibilities & ContextThe opportunity\nWe are seeking a Senior System Administrator to architect, govern, and secure our localized and global IT infrastructure as a primary Subject Matter Expert (SME). This hybrid role requires technical ownership across a varied portfolio, including on-premises Microsoft servers, Microsoft Azure cloud services, VMware virtualization, and localized manufacturing systems (MES). In addition to defining daily infrastructure health alongside global Wintel teammates, you will act as the principal point of contact for internal audits, major incidents, technical mentorship, and system security compliance.\nGlobal Server Infrastructure: Lead and collaborate closely with the Global Wintel team to architect, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot physical and virtual architectures, including Dell/Cisco compute servers, enterprise VMware environments, IBM Flash Storage, Etc.\n\nCore Microsoft Administration: Act as the definitive enterprise subject matter expert for the local and corporate Microsoft ecosystem, designing and maintaining Active Directory (AD), DHCP, DNS, SharePoint, and core File/Print server infrastructure.\n\nHybrid Azure Cloud Support: Architect, administer, and optimize our growing Microsoft Azure Cloud footprint, managing Virtual Machines (VMs), Azure SQL Managed Instances, and various interconnected cloud resources for peak performance and cost-efficiency.\n\nData Protection & Disaster Recovery: Own enterprise backup solutions utilizing Commvault; define baseline health metrics, oversee daily backup compliance, and manage lifecycle protocols, including securing and sending physical tapes to offsite locations.\n\nEnterprise Patching & Security: Establish and execute monthly systems patching lifecycles across local physical servers, cloud-hosted virtual machines, corporate workstations, and specialized MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), ensuring strict compliance.\n\nManufacturing Systems (MES) Support: Drive the setup, continuous baseline maintenance, and operational support of local MES to prevent production downtime and ensure seamless plant floor integration.\n\nVendor & Lifecycle Management: Partner with third-party technical vendors for tier-3 platform support. Direct management on localized IT budget requirements and lead strategic vendor service evaluations and contract negotiations.\n\nSCCM / MECM Imaging: Oversee the local endpoint environment using Microsoft SCCM/MECM, working in tandem with the global team to maintain, build, deploy, and support the standardized corporate image alongside specialized package creation.\n\nCross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the Operations Center to build and improve automated infrastructure monitoring. Provide strategic technical assistance and leadership to varying application and infrastructure project groups.\n\nMobility: Flexibility to travel between localized operational facilities as required.\n\nEducationBachelor of Science (BSc)\n\nExperienceAt least 8 years\nThe applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Banks, Garments, Group of Companies, Insurance, Multinational Companies, Software Company, Telecommunication, Textile\n\nAdditional RequirementsAge At least 28 years\n Windows Server Expertise: 8+ years of hands-on experience engineering and administering Microsoft Windows Server environments (specifically including Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022, and 2025).\n\nVirtualization Mastery: 8+ years of technical experience configuring and supporting VMware ESXi and vCenter deployments (versions 6.x, 7.x, 8.x and 9.x). \n\nCloud Infrastructure: 8+ years of operational experience managing workloads, compute, and services within the Microsoft Azure cloud environment. \n\nDirectory & Network Services: 8+ years of comprehensive experience with Active Directory architecture, group policies, DNS, DHCP, SharePoint configurations, and enterprise file and print server management.\n\nEndpoint & OS Knowledge: 8+ years of advanced knowledge handling modern Microsoft client operating systems, specifically paired with deep experience supporting SCCM task sequences, image deployments, and package maintenance. \n\nData Management: Proven, direct experience managing Commvault software architectures coupled with physical Tape Library rotations. \n\nIndustrial IT: Demonstrated experience supporting specialized industrial environments or Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). \n\nCommunication & Collaboration: Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills in English.
