This person will work in the team to support the various systems running on the AS400 mainframe that are business critical as well as maintain close working relationships with various stakeholders to analyze and support these systems. In this role, you will play a key role in preventing and resolving production disruptions, manage risk, improve support effectiveness, and continually improve technical processes.\nJob Responsibility:\nWorking with Business Analysts and Developers to help support the applications running on AS400\nSupporting Enterprise One package builds and Deployments\nSupport of hardware (pSeries, HMC, VIOS, Storage, Backups, Etc.)\nSupport of various applications that are critical for the As400 OS (Robot, Cilasoft, PowerHa, Etc.)\nResponsible for testing PowerHA Failovers\nParticipate in Bi Yearly Disaster Recovery Tests.\nWork with Security team for various SOX, Audit items, etc.\nKeeping systems up to date (PTF, OS upgrades, Firmware updates, etc.)\nWill be required to be in Rotational Shifts with occasional 24/7 on-call responsibilities.\n\nEducationBachelor of Science (BSc)\n\nExperienceAt least 5 years\nThe applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Banks, Garments, Group of Companies, Insurance, Multinational Companies, Software Company, Telecommunication, Textile\n\nAdditional RequirementsExperience of AS400 administration, Security, OS upgrades, PowerHA, and etc.\n\nExperience with iSeries V7R1 and newer\n\nExperience in System Administration experience with JD Edwards OneWorld or EnterpriseOne (package builds, security administration, OMW, etc.)\n\nInstallation & Upgrade experience with J2EE application servers (WebLogic Application Server)\n\nInstallation and Upgrade experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne on Windows or AS/400\n\nStrong knowledge of networking, TCP/IP and Microsoft Windows Server Systems\n\nExperience with HMC for pSeries\n\nExperience with Lpars on VIOS\n\nExperience with BRMS backups on AS400\n\nStrong knowledge in the structured query language (SQL)\n\nSkillsEnterprise Systems, ERP Systems, IBM Broker, IBM Compatibles, IBMS, Java EE/ J2EE, JD Edwards software, server security, SQL, Windows Server\n\nCompensation & Other BenefitsTransport: Pick and Drop Facilities (Depends on availability)\n\nWeekend: 02 days (Saturday and Sunday);\n\nService Benefits;\n\nEarn Leave Encashment;\n\nOffice Hours:\n8:00 AM -
