As part of a business that operates around the clock, this position requires commitment to a rotational on-call schedule including scheduled evenings and weekends to ensure seamless operational coverage, support international sites, and execute critical updates outside of standard business hours.\nSystems Administration: Provision, configure, and maintain RedHat Linux enterprise environments, Oracle Virtual Machine (OVM), VMware, and core system hardware.\n\nManaged File Transfer (MFT): Support and optimize critical enterprise data exchange via SFTP frameworks and HelpSystems GoAnywhere, ensuring script standards and configuration protocols are met.\n\nApplication Support: Assist in the administration, patching, and technical support of specialized enterprise platforms.\n\nSecurity & SOX Compliance: Enforce network and physical security policies, administer user access controls, and meticulously update SOX compliance documentation.\n\nChange & Patch Management: Test and deploy system upgrades, software patches, and environmental changes rigorously to guarantee zero disruption to integrated client systems.\n\nBusiness Continuity: Maintain, evaluate, and test the system Disaster Recovery (DR) Plan.\n\nDocumentation & Audit: Maintain up-to-date system documentation, step-by-step operational procedures (with visual captures), and software license inventories.\n\nService Delivery: Provide high-quality technical support to internal clients, promptly resolving issues and enhancement requests.\n\nInnovation & Research: Conduct research and solution comparisons to provide data-driven recommendations for new technology acquisitions and system enhancements.\n\nOperational Communication: Assist in the effective, timely communication of upcoming planned and unplanned systems changes to users\n\nEducationBachelor of Science (BSc)\nBachelor’s Degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent professional experience).\n\nExperienceAt least 5 years\nThe applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Banks, Garments, Group of Companies, Insurance, Multinational Companies, Software Company, Telecommunication, Textile, Woven Manufacturing\n\nAdditional RequirementsExperience: At least 5 years of proven experience as a Linux/Unix Systems Administrator in an enterprise setting.\nCommunication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical changes to both technical teams and business stakeholders.\nTechnical Mastery: In-depth knowledge of RedHat Linux, robust Shell scripting (Bash), and enterprise SFTP infrastructure.\nVirtualization: Strong administrative knowledge of OVM (Oracle Virtual Machine) and VMware frameworks.\nValued Assets: Experience with HelpSystems GoAnywhere, IBM VIO, or AIX environments is highly advantageous.\nCompliance & Security: Prior experience working within a regulated environment (such as SOX compliance) and managing strict security protocols.\nCollaboration: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives with Infrastructure, Business Intelligence (BI), and Development teams across international sites.\nOperational Flexibility: Flexibility and willingness to participate in a rotational, on-call framework to support a 24/7 global manufacturing operation.\n\nSkillsBash, IBM Compatibles, Linux, Oracle Database, Red Hat Linux, Unix\n\nCompensation & Other BenefitsTransport Facilities: Pick and Drop (Depends on Availability)\n\nWeekend: Saturday and Sunday;\n\nOffice Hours:\n8:00 AM -
