Join Gilead and help create possible, together.\nJob Description\nKey Responsibilities:\nComplies with all safety regulations and current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).\n\nPerforms installation, maintenance and repairs of line manufacturing equipment.\n\nLocates and diagnoses failure, replaces defective components and performs basic troubleshooting using standard electronic equipment, detailed drawings, diagrams, sketches, specifications, prints, manuals and verbal and/or written instructions.\n\nMaintains appropriate maintenance and repair logs.\n\nUses a variety of hand, power and test tools and equipment.\n\nProvides general maintenance support as designated by supervisor to include any or all of the following areas: Process equipment; HVAC equipment; Purified Water; Packaging Equipment.\n\nCoordinates maintenance on critical systems/equipment with supervisor.\n\nPerforms multi-shift work as required.\n\nAssists with root cause analysis and the investigation of specification deviations.\n\nMay be required to perform the duties of Maintenance Tech I and Tech II as required by supervisor.\n\nRequired to respond to emergency notifications via phone.\n\nMetrology\n\nCalibration responsibilities may include: temperature; pressure differential room pressures; chart recorders; freezers/refrigerators; incubators; HVAC.\n\nCreates and/or revises standard operating procedures for calibrations and/or operations as required.\n\nBasic Requirements:\nHigh School Diploma with 5 years of related experience OR\n\nAA/AS with 4 years of related experience OR\n\nBA/BS with 2 years of related experience\n\nPreferred Requirements:\n6+ years of relevant experience and a high school diploma.\n\nCurrent Leaving Certificate and Trades Certificate\n\nISO 5 certification\n\nAbility to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and robotics equipment.\n\nDemonstrates a working knowledge of maintenance systems, methods and procedures.\n\nDemonstrates a working knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safety regulations.\n\nDemonstrates strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.\n\nIs proficient in Microsoft Office applications.\n\nIs able to recognize deviation from accepted practice and troubleshoot.\n\nShift: TBD after training. Training will be conducted on 1st shift (Monday-Friday). After training, shift hours may vary, but the schedule will likely remain Monday-Friday.\nThe salary range for this position is: $92,820.00 - $120,120.00. Gilead considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package.
