This role is primarily responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient raw material preparation for the manufacturing of recycled paper. Contact us today to learn more.\nThe position will unload trucks, inspects incoming material, stock material, and load conveyor in accordance with company specification. Track incoming inventory using a computer.\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nRepetitively unload trucks in accordance with established company standards. \nOperate fork truck in accordance with standards and expectation presented in training. Enter all bale movements in current computer/trucking system. Publish inventory numbers. \nInspect all bales that are unloaded off the trailers and when loading the conveyor. Use good mix of bales when loading conveyor. \nHelp meet or exceed production, waste and quality goals. Cut beater stock with roll splitter or saw. \nClean and maintain loading area, keep work area clean throughout the shift. \nConduct a maintenance and safety check for fork truck at beginning and end of each assigned shift. \nAdhere to all safety and environmental guidelines, policies and procedures. \nSpecial projects and assignments as business dictates. \nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES\nThis position has no supervisory responsibilities \nSKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS\nHigh school diploma or equivalent. Eligible to work in the US. \nGood computer skills, ability to track inventory in a computer. \nAble to communicate with all team members and adhere to safety and adhere to safety regulations. Must be team player, organized and detail oriented. \nAbility to multi-task in an environment with frequent changing priorities. Ability to operate a fork truck, clamp truck and/or bobcat. \nAble to meet company quality and performance standards for job as specified. \nMust be able to complete tasks that require a particular speed or productivity quota.\nMust be able to adhere to process protocol and must be able to apply established protocols in a timely manner.\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
