SUMMARY The Machine Operator is responsible for the overall production and operation of a highly complex converting machine, including set-up, operation, troubleshooting, training, housekeeping and basic crew-level maintenance. This role ensures safe, efficient, and high-quality machine performance within the designated department while supporting overall production goals. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Set up, operate, and monitor assigned converting machinery to produce products that meet customer specifications, company quality standards, and production schedules. Identify, troubleshoot, and report mechanical or electrical issues affecting machine performance, performing basic adjustments when appropriate and escalating maintenance concerns as needed. Inspect product output throughout the production process to ensure compliance with quality standards and promptly report any non-conforming materials or production issues to production management. Accurately record and maintain production data within the designated production software systems to ensure reliable operational reporting and traceability.
