The Salesforce Developer will work closely with the KSE CRM team to help translate business needs into effective and scalable products within Salesforce, and be responsible for the design, development, testing and implementation work of customizations, applications, extensions, and integrations to Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ).\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nServe as primary Salesforce developer and subject matter expert\nDevelop, implement, and maintain Salesforce customizations, applications, extensions, and integrations\nDevelop intuitive user interface (UI) using Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, JavaScript and JQuery technologies\nSupport Salesforce declarative development, including but not limited to flows, validation rules, complex formulas, lightning record pages, custom objects and custom record types.\nGather technical requirements and proactively ask questions to understand potential downstream impacts of software changes made before changes are implemented. \nImplement backlog enhancements and feature requests in accordance with upcoming software release schedules and business needs\nIdentify the sources of data that feed the CRM system (data warehouse, Marketo, phone system, SMS-MMS, etc.) and partner with third party vendors as needed to pull in relevant data to inform sales and marketing strategies\nStay up to date on all Salesforce product releases, system updates and best practices to steer new customizations and integrations.\nIdentify when re-prioritizing action items are required given the fluctuating nature of the business, and adhere to strict project timelines\nUnderstand complex data models and ensure changes in those models are scalable and efficient\nDesign, code, test, debug, package and deploy quality, scalable and well documented solutions on the Salesforce platform\nCreate and maintain documentation on processes, policies, application configuration and help create related materials for users as the application evolves\nCoordinate release activities for all phases of delivery including but not limited to review of roadmap priorities, release scope, test planning, user acceptance testing (UAT) signoff and production readiness\nSpecial projects and assignments as business dictates\nResponsible for the maintenance, creation and control of all personally identifiable information or any other information protected by any Confidentiality or Privacy Standards or Company Policies that you have access or knowledge of, including but not limited to any state or federal regulations including HIPAA\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES\nThis position has no supervisory responsibility\nSKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS\nBA/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field\n3-5years of development experience in Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud\nStrongfamiliarity and experience with Salesforce.com design patterns, development practices, and deployment best practices\nExperiencewith Apex coding best practices, Visualforce, and the Lightning Web Component Framework\nExperience with APIs and Integrations\nExperience working on an Agile development team\nExperience implementing Salesforce configuration changes including Flow, fields, page layouts, automations, triggers, record types, dashboards and reports\nExperience with JIRA or other product development tools\nExperience with Salesforce CPQ and Marketo preferred\nExperience working with ticketing databases (Ticketmaster Archtics) preferred\nMust have strong teamwork and relationship management skills, working effectively with all personnel to support a strong, unified culture\nMust be effective with a variety of communicative modes (verbal, non-verbal, and written) and be attuned to others through strong, active listening skills\nMust be able to identify problems, their sources, and their potential solutions while continuing to successfully conduct day-to-day operations without interruption\nMust possess a strong ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently and effectively, meeting project deadlines and business needs\nMust have attention to detail and focused concentration\nMust be able to learn new tasks and complete tasks independently\nMust be able to make timely decisions in the context of the workflow\nMust possess strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and responsiveness\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nWORK ENVIRONMENT\nNormal office environment.\nCERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS\nSalesforce Administrator certification preferred\nPlatform Developer certifications preferred\nOTHER DUTIES\nPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
