on complex financial systems, customer-facing features and internal tools, with significant ownership from understanding the problem and defining the solution through design, development and production.\nResponsibilities:\nOwn features and projects end-to-end, from understanding the problem and initial discussions through design, development and production.\nWork closely with Product, Risk, Engineering and business stakeholders to understand problems, challenge assumptions and translate business needs into practical technical solutions.\nDesign and develop scalable Backend systems, customer-facing features and internal tools across the Full-Stack.\nIdentify opportunities to simplify, automate and improve existing systems and processes, including building configurable solutions rather than customer-specific implementations.\nWork with data to improve underwriting, product capabilities and customer experience.\nParticipate in system design, architecture discussions and code reviews, while contributing to technical direction and engineering best practices.\nHelp evolve the team's architecture and systems to remain scalable, maintainable and easy to adapt as the product and company grow.\nRequirements\nProven experience building and maintaining production software, with strong experience in Backend systems and Full-Stack development.\nStrong experience with Node.js and TypeScript, as well as React.\nStrong hands-on experience with REST APIs and AWS.\nAbility to translate features, product requirements and business problems into clear, executable technical plans and scalable solutions.\nProven experience taking end-to-end ownership of features or projects.\nComfortable working directly with engineers, Product, Risk and business stakeholders.\nStrong problem-solving and system-thinking skills, with the ability to understand the product, business and user needs beyond the technical implementation.\nAbility to challenge assumptions and balance pragmatic solutions with long-term scalability and maintainability.\nAbility to work independently and effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.\nStrong communication and collaboration
