In this role, you will help design, build, and maintain the infrastructure and developer tooling that powers our engineering organization. You will play a key role in advancing our Kubernetes-based platform, maturing our GitOps practices, and driving infrastructure-as-code adoption across the business.\nThis is a hands-on technical role suited to someone who thrives at the intersection of infrastructure, automation, and developer experience.\nKey Responsibilities\nKubernetes Platform Management - Operate, maintain, and improve production-grade Kubernetes clusters across cloud environments; manage cluster lifecycle including upgrades, scaling, and reliability.\nGitOps & Continuous Delivery - Own and extend our ArgoCD-based GitOps workflows; develop and maintain Application Sets, manage sync policies, and enforce deployment standards across environments.\nInfrastructure as Code - Write, review, and maintain Terraform modules to provision and manage cloud infrastructure; enforce IaC best practices including module reuse, state management, and drift detection.\nPlatform Reliability - Monitor platform health, respond to incidents, conduct post-mortems, and drive improvements to availability, performance, and observability.\nDeveloper Enablement - Collaborate with application teams to onboard services onto the platform; create documentation, runbooks, and self-service tooling that improves developer productivity.\n Security & Compliance - Implement RBAC, network policies, secrets management (e.g., Vault, Sealed Secrets, External Secrets Operator), and ensure infrastructure meets security and compliance requirements.\n CI/CD Integration - Integrate platform capabilities with CI pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Tekton) to support end-to-end delivery workflows.\nRequired Qualifications\n3-5 years of experience in a platform, infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE role\nSolid hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments (EKS, GKE, or AKS preferred)\nDemonstrable experience with ArgoCD or comparable GitOps tooling (Flux, etc.)\nProficiency in Terraform for cloud infrastructure provisioning; familiarity with remote state, workspaces, and module design\nExperience working with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure)\nComfortable writing scripts and automation in Python, Bash, or Go\nFamiliarity with Helm for Kubernetes package management\nUnderstanding of networking fundamentals: DNS, load balancing, ingress, service mesh concepts\nStrong written and verbal communication skills; able to document systems clearly and collaborate across teams\nNice to Have\nExperience with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd, Cilium)\nFamiliarity with policy-as-code tools such as OPA/Gatekeeper or Kyverno\nExposure to observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Loki)\nKnowledge of Crossplane or other Kubernetes-native IaC approaches\nContributions to open-source projects or internal platform tooling\nExperience with multi-cluster or multi-region Kubernetes architectures\nRelevant certifications: CKA, CKAD, AWS Solutions Architect, HashiCorp Terraform Associate\nThe base salary range for this role’s listed level is currently for residents of the United States only. This range is intended to reflect the role's base salary rate in locations throughout the US.
