Human by nature.\nAssistant Warehouse Manager - Your future position?\nAs Assistant Warehouse Manager in our Fragrance & Beauty division, you will support the day-to-day management of warehouse operations while ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance, operational efficiency, and team performance. This role will lead frontline warehouse teams, drive a strong safety-first culture, and collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure smooth and compliant operations.\nWorking location: 1 Pioneer Turn (On-Site)\nReporting to: Logistics Manager\nMain Responsibilities\nA. Safety, Health & Compliance\nChampion and maintain a strong safety-first culture across all warehouse operations.\n\nEnsure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations, company policies, GMP requirements, and industry standards.\n\nConduct safety audits, inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations, implementing corrective and preventive actions where necessary.\n\nDrive adherence to safety procedures, PPE requirements, and safe operation of warehouse equipment and facilities.\n\nPromote employee ownership of safety through proactive hazard identification, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.\n\nB. Dangerous Goods (DG) Cargo Management\nEnsure DG cargo is properly classified, labelled, documented, stored, and handled in accordance with regulations.\nMaintain DG storage facilities and emergency preparedness standards, including segregation and safety controls.\nEnsure personnel involved in DG operations are appropriately trained and certified.\n\nCoordinate and manage responses to DG incidents, spills, leaks, and emergency situations.\n\nMaintain accurate DG records and support internal and external audits to ensure regulatory compliance.\n\nC. Warehouse Operations Management\nOversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, inventory control, picking, packing, and dispatch operations.\n\nEnsure operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, and achievement of service level commitments.\n\nOptimize manpower deployment, warehouse capacity, equipment utilization, and workflow productivity.\n\nMonitor operational KPIs, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to improve performance.\n\nCollaborate closely with internal stakeholders including QA, QC, Transportation, Customer Service, and Operations teams to ensure seamless cargo flow and service delivery.\n\nD. People Leadership\nLead, coach, and develop frontline warehouse personnel to achieve operational and safety objectives.\nManage workforce planning, attendance, disciplinary matters, and employee performance.\nEnsure shift teams are adequately staffed, trained, and operating in compliance with company standards.\nDrive employee engagement, accountability, and a positive team culture.\nMotivate teams to consistently deliver operational excellence in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.\nE.
