Human by nature.\nAs an EHS Manager (m/w/d), you will directly report to our EHS Director and you will join our EHS Fragrances Department in Vernier (Switzerland).\nYou will direct and support management of all Environmental, Health and Safety functions for a site, in compliance with Givaudan EHS policies and processes, and with all applicable EHS regulations. You will be responsible for managing risk and driving cultural change to reduce the probability of EHS incidents. You will also manage and optimize the EHS organisation to deliver added value to the organisation, and promote the EHS culture across the organisation. Finally, you will act as back-up to the EHS Director and provide leadership on process safety and occupational health and safety matters.\nIn this exciting role you will :\nSupport and advice site management on all EHS aspects: act as a coach to line managers to ensure that EHS becomes and remains a line responsibility\n\nDevelop and deploy EHS vision aligned with company strategy for the site taking into account both the OPS/EHS Global Strategy/initiatives as well as the local legislations\n\nManage compliance with all EHS Regulations\n\nBe responsible for all Site EHS trainings for all employees and contractors\n\nDeploy behaviour-based safety programmes\n\nEnsure that you strictly implement safety and Health programmes\n\nEnsure emergency planning is effective\n\nAccurately complete and submit regulatory reports\n\nEnsure KPI reporting is complete, and initiate actions to drive towards the agreed targets\n\nTrack site safety behavioural audits and incidents, analyse trends on audits, incidents and near miss reports and report same to management team\n\nLead the employee safety committee to promote safety awareness, and improve the safety of the site by driving issues identified to closure\n\nManage all hazardous and non-hazardous waste activities\n\nManage all documentation required\n\nMaintain good relationships with relevant external stakeholders (authorities/communities/network)\n\nAct as primary contact for Federal, State, and local EHS regulatory agencies\n\nAct as main point of contact with other departments: Regulatory, IT, regional Management Team\n\nAct as back-up to the EHS Director when required\n\nManage process safety activities in collaboration with Process Safety Specialists\n\nDrive Process Safety Management (PSM) initiatives and support process risk reduction programmes\n\nEnsure compliance with ATEX requirements and hazardous area classification standards\n\nYour success profile includes:\nMaster degree in chemistry, Engineering, EHS or other related field\n\n5 to 10 years of experience in the industry and prior experience in an EHS plant\n\n3 years experience in people management\n\nApropriate country EHS qualification/certifications\n\nExperience in process safety management within an industrial manufacturing environment\n\nSTPS Expert swiss diploma\n\n“Chargé de sécurité incendie” certification is a plus\n\nFluent English and French languages\n\nComputer literacy (MS Office)\n\nHazard Identification, Risk Assessment, Risk Control\n\nRoot Cause Analysis\n\nProcess Safety Management\n\nAudit\n\nH+S Management\n\nEmergency Management\n\nKnowledge of ATEX regulations and hazardous environments\n\nFor safety and hygiene reasons, please note that wearing a beard is not allowed in Laboratory/Production roles.\nDue to its activities, Givaudan is subject to the regulations of the OFAC (Office Fédéral de l'Aviation Civile).
