Human by nature.\nPurpose\nAs an EHS Specialist, you will be under the leadership of EHS Manager giving support for daily job and specifically in one or more EHS specializations. Promote the EHS culture across the organization.\nMain Responsibilities\nConducting EHS Orientation training for new employees and contractors\nFacilitating toolbox meetings and delivering other EHS training\nHelping with the development of EHS procedures and tracking their implementation\nOrganizing regular site safety inspections with department/area owners; reporting findings and following up on their correction & prevention\nFollowing up all audit findings; and evaluate the efficiency of their corrective & preventive actions\nHelping to organize site EHS committee meetings and following up on all actions agreed in the committee meeting\nKeeping good/regular liaison with authorities related to Environment, Health and Safety; reporting to EHS Manager any clue of authority concerns\nCarrying out incident investigations and proposing corrective actions to be implemented\nHelping with risk assessment and providing solutions to minimize risks\nEducate, monitor, and train personnel on safe work procedures\nExecute and track completion of site EHS training compliance calendar activities\nFollow procedures to monitor health and safety at designated locations\nConduct inspections on periodic and regular basis to detect code violations, hazards, and incorrect work practices and procedures\nAcademic Background\nUniversity degree in chemistry, Engineering, EHS or other related field\nNEBOSH or Equivalent qualification\nProfessional Experience\nAt least 2 years of working experience in the chemical/manufacturing industry\n5+ years of experience in the EHS specialization\nTechnical Skills\nFluent English, local Language essential\nComputer literacy (MS Office)\nAny 8-10 of the technical competencies according to EHS specialization domain\nOur Benefits:\nAttractive package with benefits, including bonus.\nPension Scheme, private medical insurance\nUK Life Assurance plan\nGivaudan discount club\nExcellent opportunities for progressive learning and development\nAt Givaudan, you contribute to delightful taste and scent experiences that touch people’s lives.\nWe value the different perspectives that come from diverse cultures, backgrounds, and experiences.\nEveryone - regardless of race, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, culture, religion, or any personal circumstances - is warmly welcomed at Givaudan, a place where we all love to be and grow.\nEvery essence of you enriches our world.
