Join our Finance team as a Junior Controlling Analyst (Contractual), based in Dubai, UAE. In this role, you will support the finance controlling function by delivering accurate financial analysis, reporting, and insights that enable effective decision-making, cost control, and business performance management.\nThis is an open contract role with us, working 5 days a week. Your monthly payroll will be processed by a third-party partner.\nYou will be based in our Dubai office and report to the Business Controller for the region.\nSounds interesting? It could well be your perfect opportunity if, like us, you enjoy working with data, turning numbers into insights, and partnering with stakeholders to help drive business success.\nIn this exciting role, you will:\nFinancial Reporting & Analysis -\nPrepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, and variance analyses.\nMonitor costs, margins, and financial performance against targets, identifying risks and opportunities.\nProvide accurate financial insights to support business decision-making.\nEnsure high levels of data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across reporting activities.\nPlanning & Performance Management -\nSupport budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.\nAssist in tracking financial performance against budgets and forecasts.\nContribute to the preparation of management reports and performance reviews.\nSupport the identification of opportunities to improve business profitability and operational efficiency.\nBusiness Partnering & Compliance -\nPartner with finance and business stakeholders to provide actionable financial analysis and recommendations.\nEnsure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and statutory requirements.\nSupport audits and finance governance activities as required.\nFoster strong working relationships with cross-functional teams across the organization.\nProcess Improvement & Systems Support -\nDrive process improvements, automation, and standardization within controlling and reporting activities.\nLeverage digital tools and reporting solutions to improve efficiency and reporting quality.\nSupport the development and maintenance of financial dashboards and performance-tracking tools.\nContribute to best practice sharing and continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function.\nYou?\nYour professional profile includes:\nA Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline.\n2+ years of experience in financial controlling, FP&A, business analytics, or a similar finance role.\n Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Power Query, and related reporting tools.\nExperience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle is preferred.\nKnowledge of Tableau, BOA, or similar business intelligence tools is considered a plus.\nProfessional certifications such as CA, CMA, CFA, ACCA, or CPA are considered a plus.\nA structured, and highly accountable approach to work.\nStrong attention to detail with a disciplined and data-driven approach\nOur Benefits:\nExcellent opportunities for learning, growth, and career development.\nExposure to regional and international marketing projects within the fragrance industry.\nA collaborative and inspiring creative environment.\nAttractive compensation package.\nPrivate health insurance.\nAt Givaudan, you contribute to delightful taste and scent experiences that touch people’s lives.\nYou work within an inspiring teamwork culture -
