Human by nature.\nPay Rate: Up to $40.00/hr + shift differential\nBASIC FUNCTION\nTo perform preventative maintenance, routine repairs, and installation of equipment in a timely manner to ensure minimal disruption to site operations\nCORE RESPONSIBILITIES\nPerforms preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting and/or repairs of production and facility equipment\nConducts electrical and mechanical installation, repair, and troubleshooting of motors, instrumentation, and/or controls\nWork in accordance with all relevant requirements including, but not limited to GMP, OSHA, HACCP, FDA, USDA, and internal safety guidelines\nMaintains level of housekeeping/sanitation/food safety and safety which meets Company’s standards and guidelines\nPerform administrative duties including but not limited to creating and closing work requests using Maintenance management system (SAP)\nResponsibilities may include welding, pipefitting, and plumbing work throughout the facility\nAttends site training sessions, including, but not limited to hazardous waste training\nExcellent attendance, flexibility, enthusiasm, and a positive approach to work performance\nOther tasks as assigned\nPRIMARY QUALIFICATIONS\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required\nMinimum 3 years’ experience in the industrial background (food or chemical preferred), facility maintenance or general mechanical experience in pipefitting, welding, or pump and equipment repair or related experience\nForklift, JLG, and scissor lift experience preferred\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs\nAbility to climb ladders and perform duties at elevated heights\nFamiliar with 110, 240, and 480V 3-phase systems\nNo Food Allergies\nTECHNICAL COMPETENCIES\nGeneral computer literacy\nAbility to read blueprints/schematics\nMust possess strong written and verbal English skills and be able to read and explain technical documentation to others\nMust be able to safely use hand tools and equipment for installation, disassembly, and testing of electronic and pneumatic equipment\nMust possess the mechanical ability, electrical aptitude, and skills relating to a minimum of one craft within welding, plumbing, pipefitting, or electrical areas\nGivaudan takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, qualifications/certifications and education, and internal equity.\nAt Givaudan, you contribute to delightful taste and scent experiences that touch people’s lives.\nYou work within an inspiring teamwork culture - where you can thrive, collaborate and learn from other talented and passionate people across disciplines, regions and divisions.\nEvery essence of you enriches our world.\nDiversity of perspectives fuels innovation and fosters deeper connections with our employees, customers, and partners.
