Human by nature.\nJob purpose\nPerform routine and more complex repairs, preventive maintenance and installation of equipment with minimal supervision and promptly to minimize disruptions of site operations.\nYou will report to the Maintenance Manager.\nWorkplace: Mt. Olive, New Jersey.\n2nd shift\nSalary Range Based on Experience: $60,000 - $85,000\nMain responsibilities\nPerform preventative maintenance and advanced troubleshooting and repairs of production and facility equipment, identifying recurring maintenance issues in the assigned area of activity.\nConduct electrical or mechanical installation, repair, and troubleshooting of motors, instrumentation and controls.\nIdentify deviations and document/communicate them in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures.\nMonitor contractors on small maintenance projects.\nWork following all relevant requirements including ATEX, GMP, AIB, OSHA,HACCP, FDA, USDA and internal safety guidelines.\nParticipate in lean activities.\nMaintain level of housekeeping/sanitation/food safety and safety which meets our standards and guidelines.\nPerform administrative responsibilities including but not limited to creating and closing work requests using Maintenance management system (SAP).\nMay assist the Maintenance Lead and Supervisor in delivering technical training for the staff and following up on work orders.\nMay perform other tasks as assigned.\nAcademic Background\nTechnical engineering diploma or related discipline (pre-university level).\nCertification required in forklift operation and in at least one of the following: pipe fitting, welding, or pump, PLC, electrical, robotics or equipment repair.\nExperience\nAt least 1 year of experience in manufacturing or plant operations (experience in matrix organization preferred).\nTechnical skills\nKnowledge of EHS rules and guidelines.\nBasic knowledge of SAP and Excel tools.\nSafely use hand tools and equipment for installation, disassembly and testing of electronic,pneumatic and electrical devices.\nGood mechanical and electrical abilities within e.g. welding, plumbing, pipe fitting or electrical areas.\nAt Givaudan, you contribute to delightful taste and scent experiences that touch people’s lives.\nYou work within an inspiring teamwork culture - where you can thrive, collaborate and learn from other talented and passionate people across disciplines, regions and divisions.\nEvery essence of you enriches our world.\nDiversity of perspectives fuels innovation and fosters deeper connections with our employees, customers, and partners.
