Human by nature.\nPay Rate: $22.00/hr + $1 shift differential\nBASIC FUNCTION\nResponsible for batch preparation & material movements across several different technologies including, but not limited to, powder blending, liquid reactions, and drying operations.\nCORE RESPONSIBILITIES (performs one or more of the following):\nManufacture products according to predefined process order instructions to meet specific quality standards.\nUnderstand and comply with proper equipment, product and work area sanitation policies.\nPrepares final packaging for shipment of materials.\nSelects appropriate intermediate or raw materials, performs proper transactions for consuming materials into batch following order of addition.\nMoves material in various size containers that weigh up to 3,000lbs using material moving equipment, including but not limited to fork lift truck, manual manipulation, pulling, pushing, breaking and rolling drums.\nWork in accordance with all relevant requirements including, but not limited to GMP, Food Safety, OSHA, HACCP, FDA, USDA and internal safety guidelines.\nAssemble, operate, and/or trouble shoot equipment in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).\nMay be assigned to the warehouse, shipping or receiving to perform the responsibilities of the proper movement, loading and unloading, and/or staging of raw materials, supplies, containers and returns using a warehouse management system.\nHandles containers, drums, and pails of material while staging, storing, loading, and unloading.\nExcellent attendance, flexibility, enthusiasm and a positive approach to work performance.\nOther tasks as assigned.\nPRIMARY QUALIFICATIONS\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required\nMinimum 1 year experience in manufacturing environment preferred\nMust be able to frequently lift up to 55 lbs.\nPosition may potentially require respirator usage; If position requires respirator usage, you must be medically certified to wear a respirator\nForklift operation skills preferred\nSAP, bar coding/scanning experience preferred\nTECHNICAL COMPETENCIES\nBasic math, reading and recordkeeping skills\nStrong communication skills\nBasic PC skills, including competency in MS Office products\nAbility to perform routine work assignments, multi-tasking and following instructions with moderate supervision\nAbility to work well under pressure\nAbility to understand work procedures, methods, use of required equipment and computerized work instructions\nAbility to operate automated filling equipment\nFamiliar with basic warehousing procedures\nMust be able to follow written and flow-charted instructions\nBENEFITS\nMedical Dental Vision\n401K\nLife Insurance\nGivaudan takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, qualifications/certifications and education, and internal equity.\nAt Givaudan, you contribute to delightful taste and scent experiences that touch people’s lives.\nYou work within an inspiring teamwork culture - where you can thrive, collaborate and learn from other talented and passionate people across disciplines, regions and divisions.\nEvery essence of you enriches our world.\nDiversity of perspectives fuels innovation and fosters deeper connections with our employees, customers, and partners.
