Join us as our nextProduction Supervisor reporting to ourWarehouse & Distribution Manager. You will provide support by controlling and coordinating production operations within a specific area or section of a plant. This is to ensure that intermediate or finished fragrances products are delivered according to established production specifications, schedules, quality, safety, and service standards.
Location: Mt. Olive, NJ
Work Schedule: This is a first-shift position, from 06:30 am to 03:30 pm. Tuesday to Saturday.
Salary expectation based on technical experience: 87,000.00 - 120,000 usd
In this exciting role you will work with:
Production Management
Perform the assigned production area to meet the production schedules and targets.
Control inventory to ensure the availability of materials required for the operation.
Monitor the volume and quality of output and adjust tasks, timing, equipment set-up, to meet production specifications and use resources.
Protect plant assets and the implementation of internal control regulations.
Identify and resolve performance problems through preparing production reports.
Production Processes
Define manufacturing processes and procedures for a specific area following safety, EHS,Quality standards and efficiency/productivity requirements.
Propose ideas for the continuous improvement program in the area.
Take care on necessary capacity improvements to fulfill the demand evolution and prevent new asset investments.
Owner of Continuous Improvement program roll out and Team/Board meetings.
People Management
Manage staff to ensure that all production tasks are performed, and all machines and equipment operated, safely. Document performance and provide ongoing feedback (e.g., conducting mid-year and end-year reviews), addressing behavior and job performance issues, recommending hiring, People Management Programs and Givaudan established Policies
Train new workers in the organization's operating procedures and standards.
Required Qualifications:
Pre-university level (technical diploma) in Engineering, Supply Chain or related discipline.
8+ years of experience in production with exposure to quality and materials process management.
2 years of progressive experience in people management
ERP background.
Experience in Project Management.
