We are Givaudan. Human by nature.\nAs a Quality Coordinator, you will lead the Quality Control Laboratory team and oversee the management of laboratory resources to support our operations. You will ensure compliance with established quality standards, food safety requirements, and regulatory guidelines while promoting a high-performance culture through team leadership, coaching, and employee development.\nYou will report to the Head of Quality LATAM and you will work 4 days at our site located in Munro and 1 home office day.\nResponsibilities\nManage the analysis of received samples, ensuring the accurate execution of chromatographic, microbiological, physicochemical, and sensory testing to verify compliance with established quality standards.\nReview and evaluate test results generated by the laboratory team, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and adherence to quality requirements.\nHelp investigate non-conformities, identifying root causes and implementing corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence and ensure continuous improvement.\nProvide training, guidance, and technical support to team members, promoting knowledge development and operational excellence.\nReport deviations and propose improvements to procedures, contributing to the continuous enhancement of the Quality and Food Safety Management System.\nParticipate in special projects, regional projects, audit programs, and inspections.\nRecommend and implement process improvements to improve services provided to internal and external customers.\nMaintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders in accordance with Company policies and standards.\nDevelop, validate, and optimize analytical methods within areas of responsibility.\nPerform other duties and responsibilities related to the Quality function, as assigned by the immediate supervisor.\nPlan and manage team resources while supporting talent development, succession planning, and overall team growth.\nYour professional profile requires:\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in similar positions in the pharmaceutical, chemical, cosmetic, food manufacturing, or related industries.\nBachelor's degree or Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry/Food Engineering or Food Science/Pharmacy/ Biochemistry\nIntermediate to advanced English proficiency\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite\nExperience with SAP\nKnowledge of Quality Management Systems, including ISO 9001 and FSSC 22000\nKnowledge of Occupational Health and Safety regulations\nA strong understanding of food safety principles and systems is essential.
