Human by nature.\nSweet Goods Application Intern\nLocation: 1 Woodlands Avenue 8\nReporting to: Senior Food Technologist, Bakery & Confectionery Goods\nCore Responsibilities\nApplication Support\nApplication work would include bakery and confectionery applications and wrapping and packing of these products for delivery\nOrganising sensory evaluations\nDocumentation of experiments, such as taking picture of finished product and updating of data into tracker\nWork closely with a dynamic team of flavorists, applicationists and sensory scientists, and in the process be exposed to various departments as well as develop an understanding of the flavour innovation process.\nLab Maintenance\nMaintain inventory list of raw materials, colours and flavours\nEnsure that items are replenished and within shelflife\nAt the end of the industrial attachment, interns will be able to:\nContribute to the planning of application projects and making experimental observations\nIndependently organise and execute application tasks.\nPrepare flavoured food products and participate in evaluations of flavours in food applications for reactive and pro-active projects\nDocument experiments and research with reports\nCollaborate effectively with colleagues from different departments\nMain Requirements\nChemistry or relevant background\nNo dietary restriction towards gelatin products (i.e. beef gelatin)\nTaking up internship as a school requirement AND able to start from January 2027\nAt Givaudan, you contribute to delightful taste and scent experiences that touch people’s lives.\nWe value the different perspectives that come from diverse cultures, backgrounds, and experiences.\nEveryone - regardless of race, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, culture, religion, or any personal circumstances - is warmly welcomed at Givaudan, a place where we all love to be and grow.\nEvery essence of you enriches our world.
