The role will also monitor procedures, as well as recommend and implement improvements to the inventory management system.\nKey Responsibilities: \nEnsure inventory management process, are being followed to achieve inventory accuracy targets, minimizing obsolete and off-spec material, and reducing aging material\nEstablish, assign to Logistics Team and process cycle counts to ensure accurate quantity by location and lot is presented in the system\nAssist the Inventory Control Clerical and Logistics teams in processing consumption and output\nAssist and ensure the entry accuracy by the Logistics teams of inbound receipts, outbound shipments and internal movements\nWork closely with Buyers/Replenishers, Accounting and Operations team members to ensure accurate inventory records are maintained\nLiaise with replenishers, schedulers/planners, receivers, accounts payable and account receivable to resolve inventory related issues\nDocument and track damaged or out of spec product from external and internal suppliers and/or customer returns, for reimbursement or credit\nReconcile intercompany accounts including i/c inventory accounts payable and account receivable\nManages inventory adjustments and transfers\nAssist in managing physical count ensuring accurate results are entered in MS Nav\nDevelop and recommends improvements to systems for accurately managing inventory\nThe Recipe for Success: \nMinimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; some college or post-secondary designation in Cost Accounting, Supply Chain and/or Operations or a related field\nPrevious experience working within the Food Manufacturing industry in an inventory control role\nKnowledge of manufacturing and high-speed packaging, as well as Bakery Manufacturing including ingredients\nKnowledge of basic manufacturing and inventory management concepts, Inventory Receipts, Bills of Materials, Production orders, and basic Inventory management principles.\nAble to perform financial calculations and create and manage budgets \nStrong communication skills (verbal and written; strong listening skills). \nStrong judgement, analysis and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make decisions\nGood ability to motivate and empower team members by providing feedback and recognition\nStrong computer systems (MS Office, ERP systems) \nAbility to prioritize demands in a fast-paced work environment\nWhat we can offer: \nAs we grow, we are committed to preserving the parts of our diversity & culture that is unique, people-focused and are core to our success at every size.
