The role will also be responsible to ensure that materials are ordered and delivered on time and that all manual and computerized records are kept up to date \nKey Responsibilities: \nReview labels, packaging and film requirements, determine requirements, schedule production as per supply and communicate requirements to appropriate personnel \nReview client orders and prepare production Plan (schedule) to ensure all orders are filled to meet the clients’ requirements \nCollaborate with all operational departments including QA, Sales, Customer Service personnel as required to fulfill clients’ orders / requirements. \nCoordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions. \nProvide input to the department in the developing of inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs \nReport scheduling, managing orders for deployment and manipulate spreadsheets \nPrepare daily, weekly, monthly efficiency, yield, and productivity reports \nRun the Planning Worksheet on an ERP to run the planning process \nData Entry into system for delivery of products \nReview historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results \nEnsure that there is ample supply to ship, organize materials, and make sure schedules are created and kept \nNeeds to be aware of orders on hold and when they are released \nManage order and delivery dates\nThe Recipe for Success: \nCompletion of college degree in Business or Supply Chain Management \nMinimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment as a Production Scheduler \nExperience implementing and utilizing ERP software\nExtensive knowledge of MPS/MRP, Demand Flow, JIT, Forecasting, Inventory Planning and Supply Chain Design \nAble to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing, lead business discussions and train others \nAble to build and maintain lasting relationships with other departments \nProficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) \nExperience implementing and utilizing ERP software \nAble to find new methods and principles and ability to incorporate them into existing practices as needed. \nHighly focused and proactive \nWhat we can offer: \nAs we grow, we are committed to preserving the parts of our diversity & culture that is unique, people-focused and are core to our success at every size.
