This role supports shipping, receiving, inventory management, and logistics operations while ensuring customer requirements and business expectations are met.\nKey Responsibilities:\nEnsure the safety of employees, drivers, and visitors by reporting incidents, accidents, and hazards immediately.\nFollow and promote compliance with GMP, HACCP, SQF, food safety, health and safety, and company policies and procedures.\nProcess shipping documentation including invoices, orders, Bills of Lading (BOL), customs paperwork, and other shipment-related documents.\nVerify shipment details against orders, load plans, and customer requirements to ensure accuracy.\nManage, log, and validate driver and load information and assign appropriate dock doors.\nCoordinate outbound shipments and communicate with internal teams and third-party carriers.\nEnter, maintain, and update inventory records in ERP and Warehouse Management Systems.\nManage inbound transfers and ensure timely and accurate receiving of inventory.\nVerify receipts and inter-branch transfers and investigate any discrepancies.\nSupport order planning activities and create outbound shipments to meet customer delivery requirements.\nCoordinate appointment scheduling and transportation arrangements with carriers.\nMaintain appropriate inventory records and support proper stock rotation using FIFO/FEFO principles.\nSupport Quality Assurance by processing inventory holds and releases as required.\nInvestigate and resolve documentation discrepancies and inventory-related issues.\nGenerate reports, maintain shipping and receiving records, and complete filing activities as required.\nSupport customer service, warehouse, logistics, and production teams with information and data requests.\nRecipe for Success:\nCompletion of High School Diploma or equivalent.\nPost-secondary education in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field is considered an asset.\nMinimum 1 year of shipping, receiving, logistics, or inventory experience.\nStrong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.\nExcellent organizational and time management skills.\nAbility to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.\nExperience working with ERP and Warehouse Management Systems is an asset.\nKnowledge of shipping documentation, Bills of Lading, inventory management, and transportation logistics.\nBasic understanding of HACCP, GMP, food safety, and quality requirements.\nWorking knowledge of health and safety regulations.\nStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.\nExcellent stress management skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.\nWhat We Offer:\nIt’s an exciting time to be part of the Give & Go team as we are growing rapidly and want you to become a part of our growth and extraordinarily bright future.\nAs we grow, we are committed to preserving the parts of our diversity & culture that is unique, people focused and are core to our success at every size.
