Environment (HSE), Quality Assurance (QA) and Engineering teams. \n\nLocation: GTA\nShift: Day (7AM - 3PM)\n\nKey Responsibilities: \nAssist Facilities Maintenance Manager in developing building systems maintenance policies, practices, and procedures Assign, prioritize and supervise work duties in order to meet schedules \nIdentifies and develops plans to address deferred maintenance and renewal of building systems at Give & Go sites \nOrganizes and conducts training to Maintenance for the operation and maintenance of facilities systems. \nDevelop and present proposals to improve reliability and cost savings\nSafely operate facilities systems to provide specified and reliable environmental conditions and utilities to Give & Go production, packaging, warehouse, laboratory, and \nTroubleshoot, coordinate services to repair, maintain, calibrate, alter/modify and install the following systems with Operations, Maintenance, Health Safety & Environment (HSE), Engineering, external contractors and building owner/landlord:\nRoof mounted HVAC units\nBoilers \nAir compressors and dryers \nProduct storage freezers/coolers \nAmmonia refrigeration systems \nBuilding chillers and associated cooling towers, pumps and valves \nGas fired, standalone heaters \nGas fired and electric humidifiers and dehumidifiers \nWastewater treatment systems (Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF)) \nBuilding life safety systems (sprinklers, extinguishers, specialized suppression systems, fire alarm, emergency generators) \nPlumbing (domestic hot and cold water) \nDrains (sanitary, process, storm, grease interceptors) \nNatural gas (meter to point of use) \nElectrical (transformer, meter to distribution panel) \nBuilding roofing and flooring \nBuilding lighting \nBuilding grounds\nObtain quotes from vendors and secure PO approvals \nCompile and maintains all information and documentation relevant to all completed work \nAudits and evaluates the operational effectiveness and preventive maintenance program of building systems in order make continuous improvements \nParticipate in Give & Go health and safety programs and environmental sustainability initiatives \nWorks closely and provides technical support to Operations, Maintenance, HSE, QA and Engineering teams on the delivery of capital initiatives and programs \nCompile and maintains all information and documentation relevant to all completed work \nEnsure all work is performed in full compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), local codes / regulations, Give & Go Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), work instructions and established safety standards\nManagement\nAssists Facilities Maintenance Manager on implementation of service contracts and managing the performance of external service providers and suppliers \nCompile, analyze, and present statistical data regarding Give & Go building systems and facilities \nResponds to information requests from internal (e.g. Senior Management) and external (e.g. audits) parties. \nOther Duties\nPerform other duties related within the Engineering department when required\n\nKey Responsibilities (Safety):\nFollow Give & Go’s health and safety program,
