This is a system-level Android Framework role and NOT an Android Application Development role.\n\nKey Responsibilities : \n\n- Develop, customize and enhance Android Framework and AOSP components.\n\n- Work extensively on Android Architecture and Android platform internals.\n\n- Develop and modify Android Framework modules using Java and/or C/C++.\n\n- Work on System Server, System Services and Framework Services.\n\n- Extend and customize existing Android System Services based on project requirements.\n\n- Work on SystemUI, Settings and Settings-Lib modules.\n\n- Develop and integrate framework-level features and platform customizations.\n\n- Work with HAL (Hardware Abstraction Layer) and Android hardware/framework integration.\n\n- Develop and maintain interfaces using AIDL and HIDL.\n\n- Work with Binder IPC, Manager Services and inter-process communication mechanisms.\n\n- Perform AOSP customization and contribute to custom Android ROM development.\n\n- Analyze and troubleshoot ANRs, tombstones, system crashes and framework-level issues.\n\n- Analyze logs, stack traces and system behavior to identify root causes of platform issues.\n\n- Work on Google compliance and certification issues, including CTS, GTS, VTS and STS.\n\n- Integrate, analyze and resolve issues related to AOSP patches.\n\n- Use Git/Gerrit for source-code management, code reviews, patch application and conflict resolution.\n\n- Troubleshoot and resolve merge conflicts while applying AOSP patches.\n\n- Participate in code reviews and follow established development and quality processes.\n\n- Track and manage development activities, defects and tasks using JIRA.\n\n- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex Android platform issues.\n\nMandatory Skills : \n\n- Android Framework, AOSP (Android Open Source Project), HAL -
