There are no limits to where you can take your career.\nJob Summary\nWe are seeking a detail-oriented General Accountant with a strong foundation in financial reporting and a solid understanding of end-to-end finance processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on accounting experience along with exposure to or participation in ERP system implementations, upgrades, or process improvements.\nThis role will support core accounting functions while also contributing to process optimization, system enhancements, and cross-functional finance initiatives.\nJob Responsibilities\nCore Accounting Duties\nPrepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and completeness\nPerform monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities\nReconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances\nSupport preparation of financial statements in compliance with GAAP/IFRS\nMaintain and improve accounting documentation and schedules\nAssist with external and internal audits\nERP & Process Improvement\nParticipate in ERP implementation projects (LN)\nTranslate accounting requirements into system configurations and workflows\nSupport data migration, validation, and system testing (UAT)\nIdentify and recommend process improvements and automation opportunities\nWork with IT and cross-functional teams to enhance financial system efficiency\nProcess Flow & Controls\nDemonstrate strong understanding of end-to-end finance manufacturing finance processes, including:\nProcure-to-Pay (P2P) - raw material purchasing and supplier management\nOrder-to-Cash (O2C) - production, shipment, and customer billing\nRecord-to-Report (R2R) - financial close, inventory reconciliation, and reporting\nApply knowledge of cost accounting principles, including:\nStandard costing methodologies\nCost allocations and product costing\nInventory valuation and variance analysis (material, labor, overhead)\nUnderstanding of how cost data flows through ERP systems and impacts financial reporting\nSupport the design and maintenance of standard costing systems within ERP environments, ensuring accurate cost setup, updates, and reporting\nEnsure adherence to internal controls and compliance requirements (SOX, if applicable)\nAnalyze workflows and cost structures to improve accuracy, transparency, and operational efficiency\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nPartner with departments such as AP, AR, FP&A, IT, and Operations\nProvide financial insights to support business decisions\nAct as a bridge between finance and system/IT teams during projects\nJob Qualifications\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent relevant experience\n3-6+ years of general accounting experience\nStrong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting\nSolid understanding of financial process flows (P2P, O2C, R2R)\nAdvanced Excel skills\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with at least one ERP system (implementation, upgrade, or heavy use)\nExposure to automation tools, reporting tools, or data analytics\nKey Skills & Competencies:\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nAbility to connect accounting processes with systems and data flow\nDetail-oriented with strong organizational skills\nEffective communication skills, especially translating finance needs to technical teams\nContinuous improvement mindset\nWhy This Role Matters:\nThis position goes beyond traditional accounting.
