There are no limits to where you can take your career.\nJob Summary\nWorking at our Global Technology Centre, Bristol, within our Aerospace Research and Development team, you will help develop and deploy AI-powered solutions, including AI agents, copilots, and decision-support tools, that solve real manufacturing and engineering challenges. You will collaborate with engineers, manufacturing specialists, and technology experts to explore how AI can improve productivity, decision-making, and operational performance. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical aptitude, curiosity, and a passion for emerging AI technologies, regardless of whether their experience comes from academic, personal, or early-career projects.\nHow You'll Contribute\nThe Research Engineer will be responsible for the following:\nDevelop AI agents, copilots, and intelligent automation solutions.\nBuild AI applications using LLMs, APIs, and enterprise data sources.\nPrototype and evaluate new AI technologies for manufacturing and engineering use cases.\nCollaborate with engineering, operations, and IT teams to solve business challenges.\nSupport the deployment and adoption of AI and digital transformation initiatives.\nWhat You'll Bring\nTo help us make a difference, you'll bring your passion and expertise/talent for what you do along with the following skills, experience, qualifications and attributes:\nEssential:\nDegree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, Data Science, or a related STEM discipline or equivalent practical experience\nUnderstanding of AI, machine learning, Large Language Models (LLMs), and AI agents.\nExperience with Python or other software development languages.\nIndustrial project experience with clear solution deployment. \nAbility to learn quickly and work independently.\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills.\nDesirable\n3+ years’ experience deploying solutions in an industrial environment\nRecent graduates and early-career professionals are encouraged to apply.
