We servethe complete Aircraft Design & Development Life Cycle from Proposal to Certification, from Productionassistance to In-Flight Support.\nWe are passionate about our work and show our love for Aerospace Engineering through everything we do!\nDescription of the work\nDevelopment of technical solutions for products that don’t comply to product definitions, within situations of the production process as well as during the operations phase.\nAnalysis of the chosen solutions, if required with the relevant functional discipline, to assure the chosen solutions comply to strength, functional and airworthy specific demands;\nPreventively initiate and supervise actions to improve the process and/or product with relevant internal parties (product specialists, quality, developer);\nAnalyze, in close consultation with customer, significant damages that occur during the operation phase, investigate and document repair solutions in the form of engineering drafts and justifying stress analysis.\nProjects: Managing the engineering activities for projects in the Sustaining phase after the Non-Recurring phase has ended\nKnowledge transfer and control: Checking dispositions (final solution) and concessions (additional document describing the deviation from the original design)\nEngineering definition: Define an engineering definition for solutions of products and/or processes which are non compliant to their specifications. As part of the engineering definition, defining practical repair models and related written proof that the repaired product is airworthy, complying to all functional, certification demands with regards to strength, fatigue life and stiffness.\nComplexity/Authority\nSustaining Engineer works on the basis of instructions given by the supervisor and may in case of questions and / or problems rely on functional specialists within the organization. Officer analyzes problems within processes and products, also at customers occurred damage, determines whether or not in consultation with affected parties the solution and ensures documentation in dispositions and / or concessions in accordance with applicable internal and external procedures. Minimizes process disruption caused by products and / or processes that will fall out of specification by an appropriate (resources, time and money) airworthy engineering solution. Officer is authorized, based on a specific project scope and explicitly granted (MRB)authority, for approval or rejection of products.\nKnowledge requirements\nBachelor's or master’s degree in mechanical/aerospace engineering, or an equivalent qualification ,along with at least 3 years of experience as a structural engineer.\nProficiency in metallic analysis methodologies.\nStrong background in classical hand calculation methods and the use of industry-standard reference materials.\nExperience with Abaqus or a similar finite element analysis software.\nHands-on on Catia or other CAD software.\nAdaptability to tight deadlines and shifting priorities\nKnowledge of repair methodologies is a plus\nEnglish (spoken/written)\nNice to have: Prior knowledge of landing gear systems.\n\nResponsibility\nResponsible for:\nProviding airworthy solutions for different non compliant products and / or processes or where that is not possible to reject these in consultation with the relevant discipline according to the internal or external requirements document and record their own activities (concessions and dispositions, opinions, etc.)\nRealization of assigned tasks within set limits of time, money and resources.\nWe’ll offer you fantastic challenges and amazing opportunities.
