There are no limits to where you can take your career.\nJob Summary\nWe are seeking an early career Technology Project Manager to support the planning, coordination, and successful delivery of technology-focused projects. This role is ideal for an early-career professional who is organized, technically curious, comfortable working with multiple stakeholders, and interested in developing a career in technology project management.\nThe Technology Project Manager will work alongside Research and Development technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and project leaders to coordinate activities, track milestones, manage project documentation, identify risks, and help ensure projects are delivered according to agreed scope, schedule, and objectives.\nJob Responsibilities\nHelp translate business requirements into clear project activities and deliverables.\nWork with engineers, developers, infrastructure teams, vendors, and other technical subject-matter experts to plan and coordinate technology projects and proposals from initiation through completion. \nDevelop and maintain project schedules, milestones, task lists, and status reports.\nTrack project deliverables, dependencies, risks, issues, and action items. Prepare concise project updates for stakeholders and leadership. \nManage changes to the project scope, project schedule, value and project costs using appropriate verification techniques\nActively assess risk profile and determine effective mitigation plans to minimize project risks\nCommunicate project status, upcoming milestones, blockers, and dependencies clearly including managing communication with internal and external stakeholders. Escalate issues to management as needed\nDevelop resource needs, availability, and allocation based on project scope.\nCoordinate activities across technical teams, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors.\nFacilitate project meetings and document decisions, actions, owners, and due dates.\nFollow up with stakeholders to ensure commitments and project milestones remain on track.\nMeasure and analyze project performance using appropriate tools and techniques and define recovery plans where deviations to plan so demand.\nHelp ensure project documentation is organized, current, and accessible to appropriate stakeholders.\nParticipate in project retrospectives and capture lessons learned.\nDevelop a working understanding of the technologies associated with assigned projects.\nSupport technology deployments, upgrades, system implementations, lab initiatives, proof-of-concept projects, and other technical programs.\nAssist with implementation readiness and project closeout activities as applicable\nJob Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent relevant education/experience.\n\n2 - 5 years of professional, internship, co-op, military, or comparable experience.\n\nComfortable working in an R&D environment where results are unpredictable.\n\nStrong organizational and time management skills.\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\n\nAbility to manage multiple activities and priorities simultaneously.\n\nDemonstrated analytical and problem-solving ability.\n\nComfortable collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\n\nWorking knowledge of productivity tools such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and Outlook.\n\nWorking knowledge of project management tools such as Microsoft Planner, Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar platforms.\n\nMust be a U.S. Citizen due to U.S. export control regulations and the need to access information subject to ITAR requirements.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nFamiliarity with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project-management methodologies.\nBasic understanding of one or more technology areas such as Metal Additive Manufacturing, Robotics, AI, and automation.\nFamiliar with managing U.S. Government technical contracts.\nInterest in Additive Manufacturing, automation, and robotics manufacturing technology and a willingness to learn new platforms, systems, and technical concepts.\nWe’ll offer you fantastic challenges and amazing opportunities.
