This is a unique opportunity to work at the interface of experimental and computational biology in a highly collaborative and interdisciplinary environment.\nWhat you will do:\nPerform a variety of molecular biology and genomics experiments, including RNA/DNA purification, PCR, cloning, and sequencing library preparation.\n\nConduct cell culture experiments, particularly with induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs).\n\nContribute to single-cell and/or ChIP-seq experiments and analyses.\n\nManage laboratory operations, including organization, ordering supplies, and maintaining compliance with safety protocols.\n\nCollaborate closely with computational biologists to integrate experimental and analytical approaches.\n\nActively participate in lab meetings, present findings, and contribute to research discussions.\n\nAssist in the training and mentorship of junior lab members.\n\nWhat you will need:\nBS/BA in a related field (e.g., molecular biology, genomics, bioengineering, or a similar discipline).\n\n1+ years of related laboratory experience.\n\nProficiency in tissue culture, especially with induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs).\n\nHands-on experience with molecular biology techniques such as RNA/DNA purification, PCR, and cloning.\n\nExperience in experimental genomics, including sequencing library preparation (e.g., single-cell sequencing, ChIP-seq).\n\nStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.\n\nWhat is preferred:\nPrior experience in cardiovascular biology, stem cell differentiation, or gene regulation studies.\n\nFamiliarity with bioinformatics tools or experience collaborating with computational researchers.\n\nA demonstrated track record of scientific initiative, including contributions to publications or research presentations.\n\nHow to apply:\nPlease include the following application materials with your submission:\nResume/Curriculum Vitae (CV)\n\nCover Letter describing your research experience, relevant skills, and motivation for applying to this position\n\nContact information for three professional references\n\nSalary Range:\n$28.35/hr.
