The hourly rate for Illinois based employees for this role is $16.50/hour.\nBenefits Include: Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription Drug Coverage, FSA, HSA, Life & Disability Insurance, 19 Days Paid Time Off and 6% 401K match!\nMonday through Friday set schedule!\n1st Shift: 6:00am-2:30pm\nWhen you join our manufacturing team, you will enjoy the chance to develop your career and stretch your skills in an environment that requires innovation, initiative, and teamwork!\n\nWhat you’ll do:\nThe Operations Associate position is a general labor role that executes production and manufacturing activities.\n\nEvery day, you can expect to:\nAble to perform manual tasks including but not limited to palletizing/de-palletizing, applying labels, caps, seals and stickers by hand, dropping scoops and packing finished product into boxes (production).\nAble to operate Straddle Stacker and pallet jack.\nProvide detailed cleaning on equipment and parts to support changeovers.\nMust be able to perform daily housekeeping tasks to keep work area 6S’d (clean, organized).\nResponsible for following GMP and Food Safety/Food Defense procedures\nAble to effectively follow written and oral instructions.\nWear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): safety shoes, safety glasses, lab coat, bump cap, hearing protection, hair net, beard net, and nitrile gloves and cut-resistant gloves when applicable.\nSupport and abide by the company’s safety program and all safety initiatives, policies and procedures.\nReport all injuries to the Supervisor immediately.\nEnsure that work procedures are being followed in a consistent manner (Safety, Quality, GMP, MAV and HACCP).\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\nEducation:\nHigh School or GED preferred\nOther Experience:\nTeam player able to work in a participative “fast paced” work environment.\nAbility to read, write, and communicate in English is required. \nAbove average attention to detail. \nPhysical Demands:\nOccasional sitting\nConstant standing and walking\nFrequent bending and stooping\nLift up to 40 lbs on an occasional basis 6 inches off Ground to Waist\nLift up to 40 lbs on an occasional basis Waist to Shoulder\nCarry up to 40 lbs on an occasional basis up to 5 ft. \n\nDisclaimer\nThis job description is not intended, nor should it be construed to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, skills, or working conditions associated with the particular job.
